Pale Wood Holiday Park

We have had a lodge for about 10 years now. This is a nice site it has a very nice feel that you don’t get on a lot of sites. Surrounded by rolling hills and mountains, very quiet and tranquil site place to go to relax and unwind. It's a perfect base to use to travel further afield.

This is a beautiful park, very peaceful and in a lovely area. We have been here 11 years now and have loved every minute of our time spent here. It's a well maintained park and gained its 5star rating with the Welsh tourist board due to the hard work and efforts of the present managers Karen and Tony. It also has the David Bellamy Gold award for wildlife. We have seen so much wildlife here including Red Kites.If you are looking to escape and unwind then this is the place to be, you can walk, fish or just chill out in lovely surroundings. Not forgetting two local hostelries close by.

Pale Wood is a beautiful and tranquil place with lovely woodland walks and a host of wildlife, and is perfectly placed not only for a relaxing break but also for touring North Wales. We purchased our first lodge there in 2010 with the help of Karen, who with her husband Tony, managed the park to a very high standard. We are disappointed to see them go and felt that the standard of the park deteriorated without them, so we were delighted to hear of their return, and on our first visit of the year it was clear that they had quickly restored the park to its five-star standard. We felt that we were greeting old friends, and indeed have since upgraded our lodge, again with Karen's never-failing help and friendly advice. We hope to spend our leisure time there for many years to come.

Lovely tranquil owners only site set in woodlands with fishing pond ideal place to relax. Plenty of places in the area to enjoy only 5 miles from bala close to Corwen and Llangollen.We now a lodge that can be used for site evens.Being made use of for the world cup

Always a pleasure to be there, the manager, owners and staff are always cheerfull and easy to chat to.. cant do enough for us... the site itself is alway beautifully maintained. Good size woods for dogs to roam off lead.. 99%of the orher occupiers are great.. but there is always the odd one wherever you may go.. easy to get anywhere.. Bala lake just 5 clicks away.. walking canoeing steam railway.. the best thing .. No club, bar or kiddies area.. local pub is good..

Just had a stay at Pale wood and we found it very peaceful and relaxing, grounds were immaculate, and the wildlife on your doorstep was fabulous, very dog friendly with nice woodland walks which is great, in a great location with Bala not to far away. Michelle and Brian the managers are friendly and helpful and always happy to stop and chat, especially Michelle whilst walking Nexus the springer.

We have stayed at Pale Wood over the summer several times in our parent's caravan and we absolutely love this place! Michelle the manager and the team were always helpful. we love taking the children to explore in the woods and they love the play park in the village. John and I are now saving for our own, to continue making memories with our family.

Absolutely stunning holiday park. Calm and peaceful, well taken care of grounds and amazing staff.
Always feel so refreshed after a few days here from my Parent’s caravan. Great location too near to lakes and walks. Feels like another world from London! Can’t wait for my next stay in October
