Thank you so much for such an enjoyable stay. Friendly staff who have recently taken over the site and who we chatted with each day - full of knowledge and advice. (We loved Newgale & Marloes Sands (both dog friendly) and couldn't believe how empty they were.)
On site, the showers were always warm/hot and the 'family' shower and toilet unit in the utility room was brilliant for showering our three young children in the same place and one after the other. The toilets were always clean (clean toilets and showers are really important to me when camping!) and it is clear that the team work hard to maintain the site in a good, tidy and welcoming condition. The middle field with football goals were much appreciated by our three and they also loved being able to cycle/scoot around the site. The small dog walking area was useful and appreciated too. Thank you and we would certainly recommend you to others. 😊

This is an excellent medium sized campsite. 21 of us stayed here, 8 adults and 13 kids in 4 tents and a caravan. The entire area is very well kept with electric hook ups at every pitch and ample water taps. and the plentiful facilities are all in good condition with a washing machine and dryer, iron, microwave, two huge chest freezers available for use as well as the usual toilets and free showers, a good shop which also sells gas. On arrival my daughter mentioned the lack of play equipment, but she never mentioned it again and she had an excellent time, there is plenty of open space for kids to play and a set of football goals are provided The on site warden is most helpful and a fount of local knowledge on all topics, especially public houses and their pricing policies and ale selections.
There is a pedestrian gate into the residential site next door which has a great little bar that also sells vey reasonably priced, tasty meals and snacks, which we found most convenient and useful. I would not hesitate to return here again and the area is surrounded by great beaches and various other attractions. Little Haven Beach is only a couple of miles to walk or cycle to and there are three excellent pubs there, ask the warden!

We stayed in Starfish Lodge which was wonderful. Couldn’t believe how high end the spec was, centrally heated a fully fitted kitchen and a hot tub. We had a wonderful time, the site was spotless and “retreat” certainly does live up to its name as it’s incredibly peaceful and quiet. The site managers were wonderful and nothing was too much to ask. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Love this campsite, very peaceful, lots of lodges, but also tourer caravans too.
pub at the site next door that you access through a gate.

Nice small quiet site with a selection of caravan and tent pitches.
Site has a small number of static caravans of which some have hot tubs on the decking. There’s a sea view over parts of the park a lovely quiet fell even though at side of a B road.

Great well equipped campsite with lovely clean hit showers, small shop and super friendly staff. Pizza van on a Thursday and little bus 3 times a week that travels right along the coast. Thanks Mandy and Dai for making us feel so welcome.

Sea views were almost non existent, modern facilities were probably 30 years old. A walk to Little Haven was 40 minutes away down a steep road, price of our pitch was £45 a night + £5 electric, it wasn't even level. Avoid pitch 13 as we had a 'Spectacular' view of the compost heap and the concrete septic tank. If it was half as good as the web site fair enough, but it isn't IMHO. We received a part refund (24%) a week later so perhaps the owners realise that exaggerated claims should not reap rewards.

Hi, Stayed at the end of July in a bell tent, which was basic and the beds where very uncomfortable and creaking with the littlest of movements. Three very unpleasant nights. Preparation is terrible at this camp site as arrived in hot weather and the bell tents not even aired for the customers, which meant on our arrival the tents where so warm we couldn't even enter them to unpack.

Would not recommend this site for glamping to anyone, however the area is very beautiful and Dale is well worth a trip.
