Liked: Incredible views! Especially from Cwt Hendre Pod. So magical!

Friendly people and felt very safe there.

The chickens roaming were great entertainment and super cute.

Ease of access to facilities from the camping pod.

Being right next to a little stream and listening to the sound of the water.

Pod bed was comfortable and surprisingly spacious despite not being full length.

Facilities were basic but good. Bring lots of 20ps for the showers.

Disliked: Not their fault but just to be aware of - not the most convenient location for restaurants / shops/ fuel stations and the nature of the rural roads does mean drive time increases. Worth it though for the views and scenery!

Would have been absolutely perfect if the space outside the green pod was grassy rather than stone.

Table was a bit worn and if one person sat down or got up from either side it would cause the bench to move - potentially spilling your coffee in the process.

Liked: Owner was a lovely, genuine bloke, and couldn't help enough. Helped us with pumping our bed, as we stupidly brought a electric blow up, and non electric pitch, so kindly let us use site electric. Told us about local amenities, good places to go etc. Very welcoming and feeling of family friendly laid back attitude.
Pitches were a good size, and over looked the sea.
Shower/toilet block was clean throughout the stay, easily used and the showers were lovely, good pressure and stayed warm!
Kids and us loved the sites private gate and walk down to the beach. And train station 5 minutes walk to go to other local places, beaches etc. Really handy as you dont need to use your car once there. Railway runs alongside the site, but doesn't disturb, and doesn't run late, so no late night wake up calls.
Small shop up the road sells necessities, and a local pub.
And the sunsets are amazing!!

Disliked: Nothing we disliked, other than we wished we booked more than 2 nights and could stay longer!!!

Liked: Wonderful location a short walk from a beautiful beach and close to the train station. It's easy and cheap to get a train to Barmouth and the journey is stunning. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating owner. The site is really nice and it's a very picturesque setting. We will definitely be back next year.

Disliked: Could do with another toilet and shower but it wasn't a major problem.

Liked: Spacious pitches, gorgeous views, friendly welcome, beach & woodland walk, kid & dog friendly, allowed off ground campfires.
A back to basics, no frills campsite - just what we were searching for to escape the rat-race!
We were a large extended family group made up of 5 families. Mei was able to give us a choice of pitch locations on arrival and we were all able to pitch together with stunning sea views.
Log sacks were good value for money compared to some places we’ve stayed. Being able to refreeze our ice blocks was a blessing. A communal fridge is also available.
Made use of the village pub on the rainy day which has a large sheltered area out back & is in easy walking distance - and do takeaway local beers!
Back on site, when the toilets were out of paper, a quick text on the number provided at reception (if it was closed) quickly resolved the issue.
We will definitely be back in the future :)

Liked: Absolutely beautiful & stunning views. Great location for trains to barmouth, local shop & pub. Enjoyed a couple of campfires over the the few nights we were there. Owners were super friendly.

Disliked: The only thing I could say that could be improved was the amount of toilet facilities and showers.

Liked: Fab location - gorgeous views and a short walk to the pub and train station. Pebble beach is a few minutes walk from the site.
My kids had a fantastic time - the site was small enough and quite enough that they could run around quite freely. They also loved the animals, especially the goats and chickens.
Really nice friendly owner made us feel welcome.

Disliked: We stayed over the bank holiday. The facilities (2 toilets and 2 showers) were not up the the volume of campers, resulting in some long queues. I'd avoid over busy times as this was a real pain. The owner talked about putting some new facilities in and if this happens it will be a fantastic site but at the minute this is a big downside. We would probably stay again however as the location is great and the atmosphere was nice.

It's a bit expensive given the lack of facilities, having to pay for the showers and queues.

Liked: The views here are amazing, we got a plot with sea view and easy access to the beach, we had the pleasure of watching the sun set and dolphins passing by the morning from our tent door. The owner was brilliant our car unfortunately broke down just as we arrived and he was so helpful, helped us anyway he could, borrowed us tools and advised on taxis and garages, lovely bloke, lovely set up. Definitely stay here again!

Disliked: Could do with more showers/toilets but not a massive issue.
