Valley View Holiday Park

Wales is often wet. Well it lived up to this Easter 2018. The caravan site itself is very pleasant and quiet. Steep roads make for nice hidden spots. None touring site.

Beautiful site with lots of perfectly healthy mature trees until various lodge owners decided they were spoiling their view and demanded they be felled! A chainsaw massacre happened in the winter of 2016/17 and to my dismay much of the ecosystem and habitat of many species was lost.
We felt we were misled by management as to our purchase and sold up after 2 years losing 30K. Best thing we ever did. I would never purchase another lodge in my life. I am informed the site has now been sold. I am thrilled to think that hopefully , others who purchase their "dream" will not have to go through the hell that we did and that the new company will run the site in a professional and law abiding way. My advice is.....read the small print and do NOT hand over any money until you have something in writing. If it doesnt feel right trust your instinct!

Very nice Holiday park.... Tidy and well maintained.... Clive the manager was very friendly and helpful..... Superior Lodge was lovely.... Nice large TV..... Full central heating and bath with shower... And only a 10 min drive from Welshpool (Tesco)

Home from home. Very well kept park and a beautiful place to be. Friendly, helpful staff in a lovely setting.

We went on holiday here, the site was lovely the grounds well kept, childrens play parks, the caravan was stunning. The staff were lovely nothing was too much trouble. The only thing that let the holiday down was the fishing pond, weeds galour no big fish. didn't look like they cared about the state of the fishing pond wasnt well kept at all. Big holiday let down! Had to fish elsewhere.

That good we have put a deposit on our first static caravan.. Beautiful site, fantastic staff and can't wait to be in new Holiday home 🏡....

Fantastic little site, clean and tidy. We was put in a great lodge for the weekend. The site manager was very helpful and friendly, easy to approach.nice little touches like tennis rackets and table tennis bats supplied in the lodge.the only negative was that we wasn't told about booking our half pool slot.( luckily I rang and asked on the off chance and booked before we arrived.)
Everything is of high spec and the site is very well maintained. Will definitely be booking another stay very soon.

We stayed at the Valley View Caravan Park in early May. The park is beautifully maintained and the lodge we stayed in was excellent. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
We would be happy to have another holiday there in the future.
