Very expensive compared to other better sites. Dated and Dirty shower and not all 3 showers were even working. Filthy washing up area with food in sinks. Showers Not included in fee. Rubbish bins overflowing. Very noisy families. No warden or shop.Very sloping site. Feels like no one cares about it or your experience as a visitor they just want to take your money. Best left for those with permanent sites there - not good for visitors.

Nice and helpful owner, came immediately when reported a problem.
The idea of buying tokens to use the hot shower is so silly, specially for tent campers who have no other option.
No office at site, and you need to travel 10 miles to reach the main office by the town, and the warden isn't there all the time.
Pitches have a high slope, which isn't good for sleeping and affixing camping gear.
A pile of animal manure near to our pitch made the smell is bad with a lot of bugs and flies.
Bit far from the beach and sightseeing.

It's a perfect location for the beach, and was well priced. Shame the showers are chargeable, but its not a huge issue, just first place we have been were they are, so wasn't expecting it but it was £2 for 4 showers

Reading the other reviews, im a bit surprised this site gets better comments than it really deserves.
It needs some of the profits put back into the business.
If it was priced at around the £20 per night(2 and 2 kids, motorhome), then I would say its not that bad if your stuck.
We paid £40 per night.
Toilets minging dirty. Paid tokens for the shower from another site 5 mile away.. really! They where dirty too.
Dogs are free to roam without control.
Gangs of youths in there Birkenhead trackies hanging about is not helping this place either.
Go to dafarn rhos instead. Thats expensive, still cheaper than tyn rhos, but is well run, spotless clean, not crammed in, much better position for beach, staff available to help if needed and just a far nicer place to be on what is suposed to be a holiday.

Great caravan and camping 🏕 Park!! Spotlessly clean, set in an amazing location and the staff are really friendly and informative! Only 10 minutes walk to one of the best beaches in anglesey at lligwy Bay, totally unspoilt and tranquil. Would 100% recommend this site if you want a peaceful getaway for a few nights with amazing local scenery.

Called in to see if any available spots and by chance and managed to get one. Place is absolutely spot on, friendly staff and nice and clean .. it’s right on the amazing beach too which is one of the best on Angelsey.
Will stay again

Stayed July 2021. The camp site is neat and tidy. We experienced some problems with the shower token system. Apparently this site is an award winning David Bellamy site ( energy conservation). Which is very admirable but didn’t help when i ( & other guests) had a shock of a cold shower. The token system seems to work better on the sister sites. I’m not sure if this is just demand. The showers at Tyn Ross also lacked hooks and a space to get dry! It was a real act of balance trying to keep my towel out of a pool of water whilst getting dressed.

Mostly we had an enjoyable stay. It’s within walking distance of a lovely beach. Some beautiful local walks and interesting ancient sites nearby.

Some other guests were noisy at times. Particularly large multiple tent / campers. Our last night was really disturbed with selfish multi campers starting barbecues at12.30 and singing and shouting well into the early hours. Of course this isn’t the owners fault.....
Purely badly behaved selfish people.

One other comment.... there’s no play are for children . No shop. Which didn’t directly bother us but it was an observation.
Caravan pitches are reasonably sized. We had hard standing. The write up said fully serviced.... which is open to interpretation as it did indeed have electric and water but didn’t have grey water drainage.
Despite a few hiccups, I would stay here again but I would have to request a quiet are ( if there is such a thing).

Was pitched on the first camping field which was at the bottom of the hill so due to poor weather the field drained down into our pitch. Very muddy when wet. Our clothes were covered in mud, tent covered in mud, kids slipped over in it numerous times so you can imagine what that was like. It was a literal mud slide. The car got stuck in the mud so other campers had to help us get it out.
It is a beautiful site, toilets and facilities were clean but definitely in need of some drainage in the fields.
Wouldn't return if bad weather was forecast but if proper drainage was sorted we definitely would as that's the only thing that let it down.
