Liked: We loved this site. Yes there were narrow lanes to get to it but that is because the site is off the beaten path so was peaceful and very beautiful. Every morning when I left our tent I would just look at the view over Cardigan Bay and everything was good in this world!

The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and well maintained and we even tuned our radio into the channel playing in the showers!! The pitch was not level but we positioned our tent in a direction so this was not a problem at all.

There is a stony beach a five minute walk away which, because it is dog friendly, was perfect for a quick walk at the start and end of each day.

It is a 15 minute drive to Aberystwyth through country lanes which meant we were close enough to visit and enjoy the shops, beach and restaurants but far enough away to escape the bustle of the University’s Graduation week.

The swimming pool was an absolute bonus. We didn’t use it much as we were out most days exploring the area but I would think it could get quite crowded when the site is busy in the summer.

We cannot recommend this site enough and we would love to stay here again if we are in the area.

Disliked: The only downside I could think of for some people is that if you want WiFi you have to pay for it. We didn’t bother but this could be an issue for some.

Liked: 1. The views are amazing, but this means the campsite is in the middle of nowhere. There are no pubs or shops within walking distance. This is great for us and for families but I understand it's not for everyone.
2. The campsite is very clean and tidy. The cleanest I have ever stayed in
3. The staff are polite and friendly
4. The pitches are clearly marked
5. Newly re-tarmacked so there are no bumpy roads and pot holes that ruin your car or break your ankle.
6. This is a huge site but it does not feel like you are on top of each other.
7. The pool is a huge bonus, it is very clean, undercover and warm.
8. The pitches are convenient with water, toilets, etc within easy reach.

Disliked: 1. I think you have to pay for Wifi. I have never had this on a campsite
We had no phone signal. I think this is great but I can see how others might not like it.
2. There are no campfires allowed. I know this can pose a fire risk, but I can't see why the site doesn't just explain to guests how to do a fire responsibly and get people to sign a waiver or something. I have never stayed at a site that doesn't allow fires.
3. The sinks and showers are in need of an update. There is no-where to put your stuff down or sit down to dress. The cubicles are tiny and my partner is 6ft, so he had to go in the family/accessibility cubicle. If you have long hair I recommend washing it before going because the showers are not so strong and you have to push the button every 5 seconds!
However, they are nice a warm and the building is warm. They are by no means the worst I've seen, just needs an update.

Suggestion to the owners: why not save the planet and your electricity bills and turn off the radio at night and put the lights on a timer/sensor?

4. There were so many rules! I have never before been given 2 pages of rules on arrival. However, I can see that this makes the site 'safe'.

Liked: Liked the site layout for fully serviced pitches, where the toilet block was near by. Toilets and showers were well looked after and never a queue for any of the facilities. Staff were pleasant and helpful. On site is a shop which is stocked with basics and there is a games room which is fine for people to meet and chill. There is a catering facility onsite which is not over priced and serves good takeaway portions of food. THE VIEWS!!!!! Amazing, you need to see the sunset over the sea, which we did nightly with our meal. The outside pool is fine for playing in with the children

Disliked: The shop doesn't sell alcohol and it is a drive to get any. The shower could be better by allowing a slight change of temperature for the user. Pool isn't suitable for length swimming but then there is the sea to do that. These are only minor issues for improvements.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff that met us on arrival and levelled up our caravan for us. Very big pitch size. Lovely swimming pool which doesn’t get overly busy. Absolutely amazing views and if not cloudy, a sunset in the evening. Park for the children to play in very close proximity from the caravans. Well kept toilets and shower rooms, cleaned regularly. If you’re lucky, you may have a badger visit!

Disliked: Nothing to dislike about this site!

Liked: What an amazing site. Clean, tidy and nothing too much trouble for the staff. Fantastic kids play park and swimming pool. We could supervise our children on the park from our pitch while taking in the breathtaking view! Fantastic catering vans on site selling lovely hot food, cakes and the best schmoo milkshakes ever. Lots of walks from the site down the coastal paths with stunning views. Shop selling basics along with swimwear for those that forget there's. Can't fault it!

Disliked: The road leading to the site is a thin country lane with minimal passing places. However its worth going up this road as the views as you turn into the site are unbelievable.

Liked: Everything! The pool was a god send in the hot weather, the views are spectacular, the catering van was delicious snd had a great variety of foods. The staff presence was felt and they ensured the parks went quiet at 10pm. Rocky beach within walking distance. Very peaceful.

Make sure you don't have rubbish or food out on awning else a Badger will take it. Super cute but can make a mess. Lovely to see so much wildlife encouraged by the site.

Disliked: The one track road was a bit of a nightmare. As we were arriving with the tourer, a car insisted we reversed even though they were not towing.

Liked: Loved everything! My boys had the best time here. Swimming pool nice and warm, the view is incredible watching the set sun was something else. Catering van onsite for those days where you really just can’t be bothered. Perfect.
So quiet and peaceful.
Ok arrival the staff lever your caravan up for you as it’s on a hill, their assistance is second to none.
Never had that much help at a site before.
There isn’t one bad thing I can say about this site.
Central to a lot of places, 10 minutes to Aberystwyth. 40 minutes to Newquay. 20 minutes to devils bridge

Liked: Everything about the site was first class. Very well tended grounds, excellent sized MoHo hardstanding pitch, sea view to die for. Great hard working staff, and facilities as you would hope to find anywhere. Definitely one to keep an eye on for us, but look out! It fills up long in advance. We can see why!

Disliked: The approach road is narrow (not the sites fault, more the Highways dep't.) They do advise you, so stick to the arrival and departure times to minimise conflicting traffic. Which seems to be all site related, as it's not a busy through route, and very few locals on it. Beware also the drop into it is steep, in my 5 ton tag axle, the brakes were smoking at the bottom end of the approach, so use a low gear as advised. Getting out was a doddle, second or third gear in fact, when I expected first. If you have done only one Alpine hairpin, this won't bother you in the slightest. Common sense, people, OK?
