Stayed for 2 nights Easter 2023. Warm welcome by Dawn who explained where everything was and where to put waste etc. Grass pitch on relatively level ground. Great views over the countryside. Not too much road noise to disturb us. Short walk into Welshpool for shops and supermarkets. Powys Castle short drive away. Overall a great stay made better by the bacon egg and sausage buttie on the morning of our departure. Many thanks Andy!

Not really a lot I can say about this CL site that has not already been said. We go on on other lovely CL sites in different parts of the country but we have never met owners with as much enthusiasm as Andy and Dawn. I've definitely never been on any 5 van site where they do special evenings like steak nights and barbecue evenings. As everybody says the countryside views are beautiful on a site that is well kept.

Just spent 4 lovely days here with family (4 adults) and couldn't be happier with the Severn Lodge CL. Dawn and Andy are very welcoming and friendly. The site is really well maintained and looks amazing in the sunshine and the breakfast baps on leaving day are divine 😋 . Hope to come back again soon 😀

We both love our two nights at Severn Lodge, Dawn and Andy could not have been more welcoming on arrival and wishing you a safe journey on departure. Lovely clean site and great walks for us and chip our dog. It's on our go back to list.

Stayed for one night wish we had booked longer. From the friendly welcome to seeing us off, Andy and Dawn could not have been better hosts. Immaculate CL with great views over to the church, which, if you visit, go find the hidden angel inside. Great cycle route along the canal. We will most definitely return

Always enjoy visiting this site, Dawn & Andy always give a warm welcome and make sure that everything is ok for you on arrival. Lovely walk starting from the site following the line of the River Severn - will definitely be going back next year

Would happily have stayed more than one night at this lovely CL, and not just to qualify for the complimentary breakfast bap on day of departure for those who stay 2 or more nights. Andy and Dawn made us very welcome and we followed their advice for a lovely evening walk up to the beautiful village church. Enjoyed an afternoon at Powis Castle as part of our stay. No hesitation in recommending and would definitely stay again.

Have just spent three nights at Severn Lodge at Welshpool and cannot recommend this place enough.
Superb is not enough to say how good the place is and made more perfect by the owners Dawn and Andy.
They bend over backwards to make your stay as stress free and enjoyable as possible. They lay on BBQ’s to get everyone together to create a nice atmosphere and if you stay two nights or more a complimentary breakfast bap on the morning of departure.
Just a short walk, bike, ride into Welshpool for shops etc as well as the canal for cycling down the towpath to pubs etc. Narrow gauge steam railway and Powis Castle all within easy distance on bike walk or drive.
Great views from the site with local bird and wildlife to add to the enjoyment of staying there.
