I visited Hydes Herbal in December 2021 to resolve an insomnia issue. Saw Thalia who has since left. I was in dire straits and was prepared to spend the rather exhorbitant fee of £234 they were asking for to put me right. They listened to my problem and diagnosed 2 sets of medication which the lady said would sort me out within 3 to 4 weeks. So I relied on this but nothing came from it apart from further heartache in my problem being prolonged. I was supposed to get a follow up phone call within a week but non materialised and when I chased up the lady had gone on Xmas leave! The clinic booked me in for a concluding appointment in January to discuss my results but were going to charge me another £60 for the privelege! For me to tell them that their treament hadn't worked! So I cancelled with about a week to spare and they said I cancelled at short notice! I did call a couple of times during my treatment for advice and questions over my treatment and they said that they were going above and beyond what they were required to do even though I had paid them well.
When i complained after i recovered in April after recieving medication on the NHS for free and after seeking counselling, Serene refused to pay any refund at all for the fee I spent or for compensation for ditress caused due to total reliance on them at the expense of other avenues I could have gone down.

My advice to others in the same situation is to visit someone like Holland and Barrett and seek free advice there and buy their tablets at a fraction of the cost charged here. I have since heard from a colleague that she had 2 female friends who had visited the clic in recent years and both never had their problems sorted.one was for skin issues and the other I am not sure of.
I relied on the good reputation of this clinic from many many years ago which was a mistake inretrospect.

Very very Extortionate, consultation is more like a therapy session which is not what you pay for

They do not tailor medicine to you, it seems like set 'herbal remedies for each illness"
Made me worse and was recommended by them to visit hospital

Friendly staff but thats not the point, apparently it takes months for these remedies to work potentially

Be prepared to go on a extreme diet, no dairy, wheat gluten etc.. no good, made me even more dehydrated and ill

Still didnt get a full diet plan from them, was told to eat sweet potato and carrot soup, slow service

Its a business at the end of the day, they will give you anything and you will end up spending upwards of £300 +

Go holland and barretts and do research online and you can get the same stuff

Disappointed

After trying so many avenues for my health issues, this was the only place that solved my health problems I had with the stomach. Years of problems that were getting unbearable solved by the herbs from hydes clinic. I highly recommend this place they are about getting to the problem of your illness and solving the problems. Thank you hydes herbal clinic.
