Wilkinson's HiFi

We are absolutely delighted with our experience at Wilkinson’s. Every member of staff are pleasant and absolutely passionate about what they do. They have just completed a service on our Dual turntable we bought in 1988 and fit a new belt, it now works perfectly and carried out for a very reasonable price given the specialty of the work. We also bought a used CD player from them which sounds wonderful.
Cannot recommend them enough.

I can't speak highly enough of Wilkinson's Hi Fi. They are great people to deal with and have repaired both my amplifier and CD player in recent years. Prices seem reasonable to me too. Strongly recommended.

Late review, but great local HiFi electronics dealer. My Denon AVR, which I actually bought from a different HiFi electronics retailer in the country online (who will go unnamed here), wouldn't honour my warranty when it was faulty. The manufacturer Denon would honour it after calling them directly, so they used an authorised dealer - Wilkinson's HiFi - to handle the shipping of my broken AVR for repair. I dropped it off, and subsequently collected my AVR, from Wilkinson's HiFi in Nelson. Although the shipping and repair was paid for by Denon, Wilkinson's agreed to act as a hub/intermediary for the drop off and collection of my AVR, which they didn't have to do, and didn't make any profit from, at their own inconvenience. So tops marks.

Wilkinsons is an amazing shop with friendly, hyper-knowledgeable people, service above and beyond. Amazing range of second hand vintage kit as well. Worth travelling all the way from Liverpool.

Just had my 1970s Hitachi SDT 400 repaired, several problems needed sorting and Wilkinson's did a fantastic job with excellent service..

Amazing service. We've both had items serviced and mended and bought a Rega Planer 2 deck from them. Friendly, very knowledgeable, helpful and great people. Would very highly recommend.

Rang up for a replacement cartridge, great advice, great communication on delivery and the Goldring cartridge sounds spot on. Happy to recommend.
