I witnessed Steve Jones building work first hand during an extension he designed and built on a neighbours house. He also built an extensive decking patio and gazebo. He has since done work for me and friends of mine that I've recommended him to.
He knows his stuff when it comes to building regs; Uses good quality materials and is fastidious in his finishing.
Steve is also very easy to get on with. Will listen to what clients want and create some lovely work at competitive prices.

Steve Jones motto is Think it Plan it and Build it. Unfortunately for us our initial design couldn't go to plan due to unforeseen circumstances and that's when Steve's experience and knowledge came into play. His ideas', vision and skills turned a nightmare scenario into a dream as the completed house extension was far superior to the one originally planned. He was ably supported by his team Morgan and Tom and all three were very reliable, professional and maintained excellent communication throughout the build. We consider ourselves lucky to have found such a personable and forward thinking individual to undertake the project and highly recommend him.

I first met Steve when he came to skim several rooms for me. All the work was done and completed whilst I was away which was great. Came back to three plastered rooms. Since then, he has given me a lot of other advice and today he helped me install a log burner. Top top man, highly recommend!

I used Steve to install a wood burning stove. Steve and his team (Morgan and Tom) have done a wonderful job knocking out the existing 1980’s fireplace and creating a contemporary fireplace and then installing the stove. They were always on time, professional and worked so hard to get the job done before the snow arrived. What I also loved was that they always made time to chat to my son who has a learning difficulty. I would highly recommend JonesBuild.

Steve & Morgan took down my old garage and replaced it with a fantastic outdoor space. They were really approachable and helpful with ideas at each stage. It wasn’t possible to be there all the time and they needed access to the house so I can also vouch for them being totally trustworthy too. Thank you Guys, great job 🌠

Steve and Morgan worked with us for close to 8 weeks at the beginning of the year knocking out an internal wall and installing a new kitchen and a downstairs toilet. We first contacted Steve a year before the works took place and of all the builders that we spoke to Steve was the only one who showed a genuine interest in our project. Steve was really patient with us as we had delays due to planning permission and delayed further due to the arrival of our new baby. We then changed our initial plan and Steve was on hand to give us advice and nothing was ever a problem making us feel at ease. When work began, Steve and Morgan arrived on time every day and if there was ever an issue Steve would be in touch. They were both extremely professional and did everything by the book, never cutting corners! They are both really easy to get along with and even gave us advice on other projects that we were completing ourselves. We absolutely love our new kitchen and would not hesitate to use Steve and Morgan for work in the future!

Steve had given me advice on some other maintenance jobs i.e. kitchen sink tap and solutions for its repair. I will be using Steve for these jobs.

We met Steve early 2021 when he came to my home to quote for some planned building and renovation work I was planning. Myself and my wife liked him immediately, he was honest with us and extremely professional. Steve was not the cheapest quote we had but it was the most comprehensive. We agreed a start date and the work started without fault. Quality materials delivered and quality workmanship commenced. Steve works alongside his son Morgan who is a real asset to Jones Build.

As the work progressed we added more jobs which Steve guided us through and advised us on the best way forward. The whole job was perfect throughout and we could not be happier with the results. An old conservatory removed and a new functional extension erected in its place, with fitted kitchen units, wooden flooring. If you want an honest, reliable, professional and caring builder look no further, we are having Steve & Morgan back in the spring for further work. They came as builders and have left as great friends….
