Impossible to get anyone out to provide a quote for works. Several appointments booked and they called to cancel an hour before the appointments

PML Construction did roof work for us. The work itself was done well (hopefully). However, the timing and communication is yet to be improved. The work started after the scaffolding has been for two months at the property. And the roof kept leaking all this time.
Update as of 24.02.2020 with new discoveries of problems:
The services your company has provided up until now has been of the worst possible quality:
1. You have delayed roof work without any reason for more than two months.

2. The wall you painted had to be repainted as the colour did not fit. You never agree with the owner or the tenant the colour.

3.You abandoned the scaffolding used for the roof works as it has not been collected since the time the work in the end of November.

4. You mismanaged communication on several occasions and never responds to any emails or letters requesting explanation or conflict resolution. For instance:
-by giving last minute notice of erecting scaffolding ;
-by blaming property managers for the delay in roof works and not responding to any communication and explaining the reasons why you could not find any time slot for minor roof repair during 2 months!
-by misrepresenting the situation with access to the flat and straining the relationship with the tenant living there;
-by never communicating and agreeing the details of the painting of interior;
-never replying to the email asking for the information about the delay and its reasons, timing, guarantees and compensation;
- never replying to the request to provide the details of your complaint handling procedure.

I would never recommend this company.

New roof; I wish to thank PML for their excellent management and repair of 2 roofs at my home. Well organised and swift to contact me when I needed them.

PML retiled our roof and fitted replacement Velux windows, including replacement rafters. They also attended to the repairs needed in the loft extension, plasterboard, plastering and painting. The exterior of the house was painted all to a good standard and the works were well managed by Darrel the Operations Manager. We're very pleased with their work and professionalism and would recommend them.

Darrel and his team are professional and excellently skilled. Darrel was able to identify issues with our roof and guttering which were unfortunately left by a previous builder. Though he had a waiting list, the job was bought forward a week. Scaffolding and roofer all worked efficiently and within the agreed timeframe. We will use again.

PML construction has just completed our project and we're really happy with the results. The team is skilled, professional and knew what they were doing. 5 STARS, would definitely recommend. Thanks to Darrel and Jamie for all their help.

We hired PML Construction to take on a single storey side-return extension at our property in early 2021. From the moment we met Patrick, we were impressed with his professionalism - he provided a really clear and detailed (and competitive!) quote and schedule of works and was happy to put us in touch with previous customers before we went ahead.

The team on site were punctual, polite and very tidy, and we had lots of clear communication about the work that was being done week by week, which meant we didn't have any nasty surprises along the way. Their various tradesmen were all very knowledgeable and proactive at coming up with solutions to any challenges that arose, and worked well with each other to ensure the project was completed on time, in budget and to a really high standard.

We're really pleased with the end result, and are very happy to recommend PML Construction to others!
