The Range, Blackburn

Bought this board for kitchen which is really nice but the string which comes with it, doesn't even reach the holes to tie it at either end, so now got to go out and find a piece that does fit

The Range used to be a fantastic place to go and shop when the Café was in place and operating. Since the closure of the Café, they have unfortunately also closed the public toilets that they had available to the public which i find very bizarre. I went in a few days ago with my disabled family member who suffers from Urinary Incontinence, my family member politely asked twice (2 different staff) if they could go to the toilet and their response was "we don't have toilets. Us staff use our own and you are not allowed to use them". Excuse me? The staff told us this is the most unprofessional way possible, this came across as; arrogant and patronizing and we just wanted to leave. Also, how can a big place like this not have public toilets?

Bring back the public toilets, it will help to bring back your disabled customers who suffer from this kind of thing!!!

Store had no trolleys available which was inconvenient.
The store is looking shabby and leakages from rainwater with buckets etc makes it look in desperate need of refurbishment.
Not enough staff on checkouts to meet the demands of customers queues.
Its sad to see this once very attractive and thriving store looking so tired as it was and still can be a great store. Maybe a move onto the nearby retail park would boost its survival

No prices on things , staff not bothered , they just say take it till and queue up to find out how much an item is , fetch back the scanners that used to be dotted around the store

It was good went for things for my great grandchildren to keep them busy when they come to visit and I found just what I need .

I ordered a led lamp from here which they said it was going to be here with in 3 working days I even payed for extra postage and a week later it still haven't been sent to store so my mum went in and even then it still wasn't in but they had them in stock but I was told to wait to see if the one I ordered was coming to store so I waited another 3 days and still it wasn't in but they had one in stock so the manager let us take it but then my mother was asked to take it back so they could scan it why they didn't ask us when we was taking it I don't know? I shop here all the time but I'm thinking of going elsewhere in future the mess about I had to get my order was a nightmare so please be careful if your ordering on line to store and also they wanted my mother to pay for another one till she was refunded for the first one she ordered and payed for 😡

Strange place, disorganised, messy, storage boxes all over the aisles, most items didn't have a price on them so that put me off wanting to buy all the things I wanted, roof was leaking, service was slow even though they weren't busy. An odd experience.

Chopping board shelf edge price said 6.99 at till they said the its 14 I showed them , they said oh they were pit in wrong place, very embarrassing for me. Not a happy chap 😪
