Dunelm

I do quite often shopping at Dunelm in Harlow and I love the shop, unfortunately I had very bad experience with one of the store staff ,she called her self Manager!? That she really put me off visiting the store. After shopping at the store I have decided to pop upstairs to have a cup of coffee, sat down with my husband ,looked at the menu and walked to get coffee with a cake. Unfortunately, the lady that was at the till told me that they already closed and not serving anymore. My concern was Why do they have no SIGNS that they are closed?? A member of staff was lovely young girl and told me that menager not allowing to add CLOCED sign?? And coffee shop can't be closed??? Seriously ? So why they are not serving customers.? I have decided to approach store manager and asked her why the coffee shop is closed and there is no signs that is CLOSED at 5pm??? She was very defensive and wanted to walk away from me without explanation,told me that I'm rasing my voice (and there is the Signs. ( bear in mind that I have had conversations with staff at the coffee shop before approaching her) more likely she didn't like me that I have confranted her why there is no signs and she thought I am fool ! ), I have asked her to go upstairs and show me where is the CLOSED sign?? I wouldn't be so upset if I would have seen the sign ,j just felt like an idiot sitting and waiting to be served in coffee shop when clearly they do not operate.
Very descusted with harlow store manager ( just to be clear she was female and her name started from M ) .

Assistant at till was helpful when l asked about mattress protector assured me it went over the mattress like a fitted sheet but on opening it it had elastic on corners not what l wanted so l had to keep it as it said on bag once opened no returns

Great selection. Many items in stock you can't find in London. Would come again

Large car park off Edinburgh way Harlow. Very reasonably priced goods, bean bags, cushions, throws, garden furniture, lighting and cleaning items. Some good bargains!

Rude staff! Been in a couple of times and even phoned. Each time have been created with grumpy rude staff that are very unhelpful. I will never shop at this Harlow store again.

I have had horrible service as I was asking for help these 2 blonde young ladies laughed in my face and walked away I also started to notice they were vaping behind some shelves they seemed to not care about there job. I was disgusted when i see young people taking jobs for granted. One was tall and blonde the other was kind of short and blonde.

I absolutely love this store, needed some gifts in here for Christmas and got everything I needed as I normally can. Also bought some lovely Christmas decorations. Popped in after Christmas to pick up few items, especially a new lamp after our one gave up over the festive period and once again got all that I needed. Good on you Dunelm well done and for the helpful and pleasant staff!!!

good quality stuff to buy but the delivery situation was an issue for me... i ordered around £400 of goods to be delivered to my home and paid a £9.95 delivery charge for this. then i found that one small item (a shoe rack) set itself to 'click and collect' meaning i still had to travel to my nearest dunelm store despite paying the delivery charge which was an unwelcome inconvenience especially since i don't drive. i expect to use this place again but will be wary of what i buy online next time.
