The Range, Redditch

Its a common theme with Range stores: Every third item is missing a price, and there will always be at least one isle that is either empty, or is in the process of being restocked, but in the meantime is completely unpassable because of all of the boxes blocking the way.
Funnily enough, this store was no exception.

It appeared to me as though this shop was too big for the amount of stock it held, upstairs had 2 isles dedicated to Christmas (in September...) , and the rest was arts and crafts or drinks bottles.

I don't dislike The Range, and as long as you accept that it's faults, the products they sell, and the prices they sell them for, always seem like decent value.
The colleagues are normally friendly enough too, and this branch kept that trait going.

A great shop to visit and shop in. It has lots of reasonable items suitable for all the family. It had seasonal items for Christmas, Easter and Halloween. There is a great selection of arts and crafts and toys too. There is also a small section selling iceland food which is handy when visiting The Kingfisher shopping centre.

Decent store. Staff are great, I stupidly bought large furniture items while out with a baby in a pram. The staff member helped me get everything to the til and even got a trolley and followed me to my car with the large items in. Above and beyond any expectation.

Like the rang. Lots of choices found quite a lotto buy but they hadn't got all we wanted in stock so we ordered the rest online. Very pleased with it

I still can't comment highly on the customer service of this store.
There is a lot to buy and look at but sometimes hard to get to certain shelves due to positioning of aisles and pillars.

I begrudge asking for help as I have on numerous occasions in the past and never get a good response, I always feel like an inconvenience.
Whilst paying on my last visit I was called over to an empty till.
I had a basket full of items and being 8 months pregnant and on my own it too me a while to slowly bend and put each item individually on the small desk. The lady scanned my items very quickly and asked for the money as I was bagging...in the very small bagging area. I decided to stop bagging to pay as the lady was just staring at me and not even helping. After I paid she logged off the computer and walked off...I was stood bagging my goods for another good few minutes after paying on my own, I packed up 4 bags and was never offered any help, pregnant or not it is just decency. Whilst bagging up a member of staff even came over the a woman who was on the till in front of the one I was on and started talking to her.
They are oblivious and don't care

The shop is led out really well and I was able to find what I was looking for. The queues were quite long at the checkout( only 2 opened) but I and other customers were asked to pay at the customer service desk but we were at the back sooooo I can imagine how the people in front felt

Love store, lots of amazing things especially for the Christmas season. Doesn't seem that stocked with normal products though. Will be coming again

Poor customer service, after waiting for ages to be served the checkout operator told me to go to customer services to be dealt with and when I got there the person behind the desk went off to deal with a problem at the till that I just came from. In the end I left the store without buying anything.
