As an emergency call out locksmith I am continually on the road and so often I have to pick up locksmith parts from various DIY shops. Robert Dyas in North Finchley is one of those places that is fairly well-stocked with small bits that I need for my job. Reasonably priced for the quality of goods that I need even though it is very limited on locks and other door furniture.

I both one heater , the lady from there she said that the heater it's not doing any noise , but after 2 days believe me a lot of noise . The manager said that she can change it for a new one cause the noise its normal , well it's not normal it's just cheap quality ! I was not happy with this product I pay 30 pouds for nothing , I left it outside in front on the shop cause no one give me any help . Thank you so much ! Don't lie to your customers just to sell cheap products with cheap quality !

My positive experience seems appears to be at odds with a few of the reviews posted here.

When I've asked for specific item, the item has been personally located or if out of stock, I've been provided with an alternative product.

At times, the store can be busy and it can be challenging to find an available member of staff. However, when available, their full attention and customer service is outstanding.

My 13 year old son visited the store on Sunday lunchtime 6th Dec, but forgot his mak. He politely asked a member of staff if he would be allowed in if he pulled up his top to cover his face (which I understand can be considered a face covering), oe whether they had a disposable mask that he could wear. The female member of staff behind the counter told him rather abrubtly that he was not welcome in the store. Understandably, my son was very upset at being treated so rudely by the member of staff and he was even shooed out of the shop with a very dismissive hand gesture. Unfortunately we do not have the name of this terribly rude member of staff, but is this really how you treat your customers.....during these difficult times....in the lead up to Christmas?

Great store with very helpful staff. Ian and his colleague helped me cut some keys for my house which I urgently needed (just as they were about to shut for the day). Was much appreciated! :)

Great range of goods in such a compact space, great prices. Everything from kids games, Christmas decor, small kitchen appliances, lighting options, hardware, kitchenware, laundry, bathroom cleaning and accessories to headphones!

Very small variety of lots of items: hardware such as screws and nails but only few types, cleaning products, appliances, gardening supplies, electrical supplies etc. The result is never finding what you actually need but something similar that doesn't do the job.

Prices seem to be a little above average for most items.

The staff on the floor is kind and helpful but the older ladies behind the register are quite rude and seem annoyed by all customers.

Excellent service, excellent selection of products. One doesnt have to go elsewhere. Everything a household needs under one roof.
