The Range, Stafford

Great store: well laid out, plenty on offer, and a gardening section too! Staff were very polite and friendly. Worth a purpose trip or just to browse around for fun.

A member of the managerial staff needs to gain customer service skills.
I asked the lady at the till if they had any more of an item I wanted to purchase " I'll just check for you" was the reply. After doing so I was told they had more in stock. A higher member of staff appeared from the office to which the lady on the till asked if she would go and look for the item. This women did not acknowledge me at all and she wore a face of a disgruntled mare. On her return she whispered to the lady at the till who then advised me that the warehouse was full and she wouldn't be able to find the said item. 🤦‍♀️ Wrong answer and no apology from the mare.

Went to the range and sometimes having a brain injury some shops can be overwhelming and as I walked in Stafford branch I felt overwhelmed by Christmas stock in September but a wonderful lady helped me find gold paint pens so I didn't have to go all through it so I could finish this lovely book art for my niece 😊

Range has a wide variety of home interior things. I find the feature wall Mirrors in range extremely price competitive with a wide range of options.

Trollies & baskets: trollies outside, baskets to the right and left as you walk in (some with wheels)

Anything worthy of note: ramp-up to entrance

Lavatory / baby change: no

Parking: large carpark

Wife range of things available from diy to gallery to home decor to garden and lots more. Good approach. Staff is very friendly. Has great in-store offers.

Shop here very often but last 2 times have experienced unhelpful and quite rude staff interaction!
As a disabled shopper I have normally found staff helpful! Must of been off days full of Christmas cheer! LOL

Went in this week to buy some Christmas decorations, saw this lovely heart shaped wreath which I wanted to use as a starting point for a Christmas decoration , however it was damaged . Asking at the check out if it could be reduced in price I was told no, they couldn’t reduce Christmas items until after Christmas . It was damaged for pete’s sake and I was prepared to buy it, I think some staff/managers need a refresher course in business acumen .
Also your Liquorice Allsorts boxes have an amazing deal was £2.00 now £1.99 amazing deal 😂
