The customer service in there is DISGUSTING. I bought a £5 projector/party light in there which I discovered was broken when I inserted batteries into it (after purchase). So I tried to take it back and asked for a refund, they accused me of dropping the light and said they could only give exchange it for a new and not give me my money back. So I accepted a new one only to discover when I took it home that they didn't but the battery cover back on and the light still didn't work properly with batteries in again. I'm not happy at all. I know it is only £5 but I am a broke student and could have done with that money!!!!

Amazing little store Ashco, I've been coming here for years, quite simply because they have just about everything, other shops don't. I mean, where else can you go and buy vacuum cleaner bags & belts, albeit a lot less than they used to do. They've got hardware & hand tools, hard to find bulbs, fittings, kitchenware & utensils, stationary, all kinds of things, it really is jammed packed. The quality of some items might not always be the best, some of their tools for instance are more budget/DIY quality, but that's fine as their prices are very good. I've lost count of the times there's something I couldn't find anywhere, but was able to get in here, even a potato ricer! Yes, you could find online, or buy more expensive, better brands, but I prefer to support an independent shop if I can, and personally just find it much easier. Great prices, amazing choice for it's size and helpful staff. If you can't find it, they might have it!

Do not shop as they are exploiting these days with inflated prices such as £25 for hand sanitizers and £14.99 for a bottle of Dettol. I hope you go under you robbing people. That’s a polite comment. So avoid this shop. This is worse than the virus going around. Can I give minus 5 stars.

I found it disgusting how in these hard times, some products are selling for 3 times ( or more) more than the usual price .....like hand sanitizer the other day for £25!!!! And a bottle of dettol for £14.99??? Just to an,e a few.
I used to like it and support it as a local shop but I won’t go there anymore after they ve shown how selfish they really are!

Very friendly and professional service. I came here short changed and they told me it was fine and I could cover it next time. They helped me find and source all of my items quickly and even helped me and my dad put everything we got into the car as my dad is elderly and has trouble getting around. Thank you guys so much for such a lovely experience
