The Range, Hemel Hempstead

Worst range I have ever been in. Staff are rude. About 4 of them standing there doing nothing whilst people wait in queue. I've always enjoyed the "range" they have and in here was disappointing. I'd go Watford instead of this place. Thoroughly disappointed!

I am gobsmacked. Pillows on the shelves ticketed as £3.49 and reduced. Complete our shop and buy other things as well amounting to £60. Inspect the receipt and we were charged £5 per pillow. Not a huge difference but we bought the pillows due to being discounted, assuming we maybe picked up the wrong one we went back to the store to ask why the price we were charged was wrong. They sent someone to check and came back telling us all pillows were £5. I therefore went to go look for the ticket we had seen, and to my shock and dismay they had removed the tickets. They then decided to spend the next ten minutes telling me that there couldn't have been a ticket. Received a refund for the pillows but its more the accusation that I have made this all up to receive a couple pound discount on a £60 shop. Just so appalled at the deception and dishonesty. Please do not trust this store.

Every year I find the most beautiful Christmas decorations in this store and the price is acceptable comparend with others. Everyone is very polite and helpful.

The store needs alot of improvement from the moment you walk in the entrance it smells horrible and the floor is very dirty and doesn't look like it's been cleaned in a very long time. Alot of items missing from the shelves most items don't have price labels or are placed above the wrong labels. The stock is always in the middle of the aisles and very untidy. The staff are mostly friendly but always look fed up and over worked.

Good range of Xmas decorations but they really need more staff in checkouts. Que of at least 10 paying customers with just 2 tills despite repeated requests over the tannoy (yet at the back of the store it was like a social gathering of staff!)

Unfortunately this was not for me, I was dragged along by the wife looking for Christmas decorations.
I had no real choice in the matter but to go as most men will know this.
I must say they did have a big range of decorations around about 1 hour later and out of pocket and a bad case of tinselitis it was all over for now.

Love The Range, everything you could want in one store. The staff here are so friendly and helpful. Large carpark and other businesses nearby

There's a "happy hour" at Dee Dee's coffee shop, where you can buy a Costa coffee for a £1 between 3 and 4 o clock 🙂, until end of January 2023 ...
