I went for wedding dress alterations, Julie was so helpful and knowledgeable! Told me not to stress about the small stuff on my dress and that it would be perfect on the day. She really did an amazing job! I even bought a second dress from her for the evening which she altered and made fit perfectly.

Julie even managed to squeeze my mums alternations on for her dress too.

I honestly cannot recommend J R Soft Furnishings enough. I was recommended Julie by the lady I bought my wedding dress from and I'm so glad she did. I was treated with respect and made to feel so comfortable during my visit, Julie listened to all the worries I had with my dress and started altering it. I picked my dress up last night after a week and honestly it was better than I hoped! Fits perfectly now except the hook and eye popped off (my fault) but again Julie was amazing and fitted it back on there and then before I left.

If there's anyone needing wedding dress alterations I highly recommend you visit this place.

I'm beyond thrilled I decided with Julie to be the seamstress that altered my wedding dress. She was warm, welcoming, and made me feel like an absolute princess every time I was there. My dress needed taking in, up and the back altering to a corset back and she made it all look like easy work when I know for a fact that it wasn't. Fair prices, lovely lady and all over fantastic service!! Thank you so so much Julie ❤

Altered my daughter in law's wedding dress.
Total disaster, no apology, just blamed my daughter in law for losing weight.
This woman was told what size to take it down to and might try listening to customers in future.
Even had the size been correct, the skirt wasn't properly attached to the bodice, the loops for the corsetry were falling off, all in all a disaster which thankfully got fixed elsewhere.

Julie has just worked on my wedding dress. She was so lovely and helpful and professional made a wonderful job made me feel like a princess !
Would recommend and use again
