Homesense

Down in Devon we do not have a Homesense, only a TK Maxx! So knowing we were a stones throw away whilst holidaying in Chester... we made a trip specially. You see... my partner, our friends and I are a little Halloween mad! Parking was absolutely easy, as the retail park was massive! As you enter this large store.... the Halloween items are right as you enter the store. That is a great idea to entice interest in the store and also great for the people who go in specifically for the seasonal merchandise! The excitement on my partner and our friend's face was so sweet! Like a kid on Christmas morning. You see, our lineup down our end is a little, well... pitiful. To have over 3 aisles of it... incredible! From snowglobes, throws, plates, ornaments, cauldrons, outdoor statues, cute spooky items, more sinister looking items.... you name it, they had it. We must have been in Homesense for an hour, just browsing all the incredible quality made merch. The store itself was very big, two floors of all your house needs. My partner and I are looking to move, so we got a lot of inspiration for items we want in our house. The sofa selection was great, a few really looked like the right aesthetic we are looking for. It really was a worth while trip, as it has given us plans and layout ideas! The store was really clean, very well stocked despite the world shortage situations we are facing. The staff were ever so helpful, helping us find items. The staff member at the till, was really nice, welcoming and told us about winning a £200 voucher. Honestly Homesense did not disappoint, if anything it exceeded the expectations, even if we held them high anyway. We got a good few Halloween items, meaning we had more to pack then we brought, which boded well for a tight squeeze... on a over 6 hour journey home. Either way, we loved the visit and just wish we have one in Devon! Please one day! I highly recommend a visit. They have all your home needs! Need a tea towel... covered it. Need cutlery... say no more. Your sofa looking knackered... Homesense is your saviour! Hope to come back when we are in the area again!

Always a great location to shop in, friendly staff and sometimes a few bargains to fine however you will find quite frequently that they are having to put stickers on things for damage and adorable, missing pieces etc. Not sure if this is on transit or when it reaches but seems to be increasing amounts of these. Wide selection though but be wary, if you see something get it there and then otherwise it will most likely be gone

Love this shop don't think I haven't been there and not bought anything.
It's well presented and great for gifts you would really like yourself
Loads of homely seasonal gifts that are not plastic and you could use yearly.
It can be a bit pricey for somethings but they quality

Purchased a Halloween candle when they were closing and there was no price on the candle. So the assistant went to check the price on the Halloween candle and as that was the last 1 she bought over a candle which did not look the same and charged me £12.99. I went back the day after just to pop in and see what other halloween stuff they had in and i noticed they had a few more of the halloween candle i bought and it was labelled and priced at £7.99 and not the £12.99 i was charged i was shocked at the difference in price. Seems like day light robbery ☹️☹️

I enjoyed my shopping experience at Homesense where there was a wide variety of goods for sale at reasonable prices. Staff were very professional and helpful. Thank you.

Checkout is slow sometimes. Big range of goods . Garden centre has occasional bargains
I preferred the store in the town centre
