Homebase - Clitheroe (including Bathstore)

I placed an order online, paid for it, and went to pick it up the next day. The website said the store closed at 7, we drove all the way from Accrington and arrived at 6.15pm only to find the store closed and the gates shut. To say I am peeved is an understatement, fuel is expensive enough right now without having to waste it due to incompetent companies. Put the correct opening hours on your website, it's very easy to do, even a child could do it.

Not a nice store experience. I went in looking to buy some white satin paint for wooden doors and the price was over the top. Storage boxes very expensive compared to home bargain, and B@M even wilko is much cheaper. £9 FOR OVER 40 METRES OF FROG TAPE SAME STUFF £5.50, at wilko I ended up coming out without buying anything my first time in a home base and my last.

Staff were friendly, and helpful. Been a few times now and always received great service

Diabolical customer service. My partner tried to return some paint we had mixed, when opening the tin it appeared the colour match was completely wrong. We HAD NOT been shown the paint in store before it was sealed, therefore were unaware until we opened the paint. When asking to either exchange the paint or for a refund they point blank refused to do so - irrespective of the fact we had not been shown the paint in store when purchasing. Safe to say we won't be returning to this homebase again.

Went to pick up a toilet that said they had in stock ,asked a member of staff for help, and walked off saying they have a look in back appears 10mins later with another staff member he looks about no sorry its not in stock you can just order it online yourself,is it free postage? oh it is sometimes really , no sorry for your wasted journey no offer to order for us ,so we just ordered from another retailer poor customer service skills

Friendly staff, always willing to help. well laid out, just can be pricey on things. But they have a huge store to run, that's the price we pay for convenience 👍

Staff were very helpful as always. No stock of what l needed and they ordered it for me to collect.

If it’s anything like the other stores it’s great!
Just used it as a reference point for google maps to visit Clitheroe.
In the same centre is Homebase and Sainsbury’s so the Handyman can buy tools while the cook in the house can buy sustenance.
