Miserable store, only 2 staff on tills at 3pm Saturday, rest on "lunch" or "not till trained" which is not true is it? Long queue at checkout and shortage of trolleys. New management needed!

A good place to do your garden and DIY shopping. There is plenty of free parking (90 minutes) and you will find a space even on Tuesday and Thursday morning when Catford Wanderers have their boot sales and customers illegally park in Homebase. OK for small projects, but does not seem so good for the big stuff.

Friendly staff and always so helpful. Most items are in stock n price reasonable. They even have a key cutting machine which cut precisely n quick.

My experience wasn't great. Went to pick up loppers I had reserved but the assistant said they weren't left were her note said. Fortunately the helpful young lady was able to find some which weren't collected by another person. I like this branch but it's quite chaotic at the best of times.

Ironically dilapidated considering its a DIY store. Views from the lawnmower stand over a sad and mucky pond are a highlight, well the birds in the pond are the highlight. I once bought a bag of compost that turned out to be infected with fungus gnats, killed all my houseplants, brilliant, expensive and full of stupid builders.

Spent too long shopping there and received a parking ticket, so not worth browsing, better off going to B&Q, cheaper in the long run

Brilliant store. Prefer this to B&Q. Staff are friendly and helpful. Easy to navigate around and prices seem to be better than their rivals.

People on the check out need to speed up and stop chatting. Annoying waiting in a long line to see someone working at a snails pace with a smile on their face having a chat! It's not waitrose......please serve quicker
