Hyde Park Stables - Horse Riding Central London

I had such a wonderful ride with Hyde Park Stables. The horses looked well cared for and loved. All of the crew working there were extremely friendly and helpful. My guide, Alva, was very knowledgeable and I enjoyed talking with her as we rode. Like any good livery, they will keep you on a lead until they can assess your abilities. It is a good practice, as many over exaggerate their abilities. If you have ever dreamed of taking a trot down Rotten Row, this is the place to do so.
Put your camera down and just enjoy the experience!! Worth every penny spent!

My daughter absolutely loved her ride. The girls were so friendly and the horses 🐴 were amazing. Will definitely be back. Sophie who took her out had her on lead rein first and checked her ability before she left her ride alone. Also impressed they checked her hat met the safety requirement. Thank you so much

My daughter booked a ride here for both of us and we had a lovely time. So amazing to be able to canter along Rotten Row and the other sandy tracks in the Park. Our leader Ryan was very friendly and was able to judge our abilities very soon after setting out, so although we started out on lead reins to cross the very busy main road, it wasn't necessary for us to remain on these once in the Park. My horse Boris was great, very responsive, easy to get to trot or canter. My daughter rode George who was a bit hard to get going until we got to the canter when he came to life-in fairness he's probably the ideal ride in that he will adapt to the level of the rider, and my daughter is a novice. All the staff were friendly and we will definitely book again.

Lovely staff and lovely horses. I decided to sign up for a lesson as a way to destress from work and ended up liking it so much I signed up for several more. I had a different person for each ride and enjoyed my time learning and talking with every one of them. Highly recommend this place whether you're looking for a nice stroll through the park on a beautiful horse or looking to get lessons on riding :)

We had a great experience and loved the ride. We even saw the Calvary come through! The instructors were really friendly and easy to talk to. It was a great way to see Hyde park and an even better way to get some time on a horse. They will assess your skills while on horse back, but for those not quite ready to have a horse to themselves in the middle of a very public setting they will keep you on a lead line. Which is exceedingly reasonable in my opinion. Would definitely recommend for an interesting experience and nice way to spend the morning.

I booked two rides for me and my son. This was for my son’s 22nd birthday gift. We had never ridden horses before and he is an animal lover. I was always afraid of horses and I wanted to overcome my fear. This was a surprise gift and my son was overjoyed with the whole experience as was I. We had an excellent instructor, Ryan, who led us through the park and the weather was kind to us - sunny day in Hyde Park watching the world go by while we reconnected with nature. Thank you to everyone at the stables and especially to Ryan, who I now consider a firm friend. We will be going back!

I have had multiple rides and 1-1 lessons with the team at Hyde Park Stables over the past six months. As a complete beginner, learning from the team has been an incredible experience. The team are so kind, friendly, and respectful of all learning abilities. Not only are they attentive and help you to get the best out of your lesson, they also make it a lot of fun — all while making you feel safe. The horses are spectacular and very friendly / well trained. I love every minute when I am at Hyde Park Stables. It’s truly a hidden gem of London and I recommend a ride here to all my family and friends. Special shout out to one of the instructors, Ryan.
