I've spent several weeks having refresher lessons at Kingston and really enjoyed my time there.

Professional staff, great facilities and Richmond Park on the doorstep is just the most beautiful place in London to ride!

- if you're lucky you might even be invited to join the legendary Sunday Hack with Sophie - a truly memorable experience :)

This riding centre is a little gem. A very professional yet friendly yard with very happy horses. Special mention to Melanie, the perfect instructor whose experience and knowledge is second to none. If anyone is thinking of taking up or getting back into riding, book her :) On the edge of Richmond Park, the location is perfect. Love this place.

My 3 year old had a pony ride today and she really enjoyed it. She has ridden elsewhere before but this was definitely her most enjoyable ride :) Linda took my daughter to Richmond park; she is the most lovely lady and has an incredible affinity with children. Thank you Linda :) xx

We hosted an 8-year-old girls birthday party for 12 children here.

From our arrival to our departure, we could not have asked for a more professional, entertaining and welcoming atmosphere.

The instructors were patient with the children throughout and had lots of time for their questions.

The children found the experience exhilarating - many of the girls had never ridden before. The instructors kept them entertained with various riding activities and games. The party ended with a grooming session where the girls were allowed to brush the horses down with different brushes.

Many thanks to all the instructors there. I will be recommending your stables to friends and family.

Special shout-out to Joe and Susan!

My partner paid quite a lot of money for me to go on a hack for my birthday, but I arrived and was asked to show my riding skills (I hadn't ridden for a few years so I was rusty). I was basically derided for not being an amazing rider and told I wasn't allowed to hack. (Both my partner and I had been on many hacks in the past - with amateur riders - and were never expected to prove our talents). I was given a short refresher session instead, which was obviously no way near as interesting. I got the impression they just couldn't be bothered to lead a one-person hack. My partner and I found the place quite snobby and we definitely wouldn't go back. It seems to be the only place that expects riders to be Olympian equestrians just to go on a gentle stroll through the woods.

I went there for a hack in February- I used to ride quite well but at the time had not ridden for more than a year. I was asked to prove my riding skills, which took about a minute. I think it is a very smart idea, and it is nice that people actually care about your safety, unlike in other places (where people think that they can ride and then end up on the ground). I had an amazing ride (with loads of trot and canter), and will be coming soon again.
