I've been lucky to have been seen quickly for X-rays too.
There is plenty of parking (pay to park) and free parking opposite.
We are lucky to have this community hospital on our doorstep.
Finding the place and the entrance was easy.Did a self checkout and took a seat.
The names of patients and which bay you should be is on the screen in the waiting room.Says next patient when it's your turn. Was called up on time.
I was a bit anxious, just because my veins are hard to find and I had problems with nurses not being able to find it although they pierced my arms several times and asked to do it on my hand/wrist which I didn't want.
Jane was doing my blood test, she greeted me and asked for my blood test papers.
She put the tight band and cleaned the skin.
She said look forward and put the needle without saying sharp scratch. When I looked to see what was going on,blood wasn't coming out,she suddenly pushed the needle in more which was painful and told me to look forward again. She did take 3 bottles but it felt like ages and was painful. She then took the needle out and put cotton/ tape on it.
Now I can't stretch my arm and I am in pain.
The lady at reception was helpful.
I’m sure it wouldn’t have been a big deal if they had my blood test done this time at Cheshunt seeing as I had to wait 2 weeks to get booked.
