I took my daughter 5 year old as she had ear ache and blood coming out off her ear. We went at 8:30 their was long queue until inside the room where the reception box is. I was only asian lady with my daughter was there the rest of them where like white people and then one lady came with her not dad and she wanted him to sit she ignored me that we were standing there she called lady in front and said isn't ok if i put i sit my dad on the chair and she said ok then after an hour wait out the door she ask same lady if its ok if she push in and stand in front of her and the lady said ok its fine and i ignored its fine but when we reached to the reception box like everybody been standing there then a nurse moved me back to the door and said queue is here the reception will call you then you go ahead it was long lecture finally my turn came then we were sitting for very long time but who ever came after us been seen before us and we were their more then 3 hours i thought i should of gone to hospital it was sunday but while we waiting in waiting room queue begin next to the reception box no one said anything to them maybe because they were white and i am brown. I think these lot chooses who will been seen 1st. Poor lady (black lady) sorry i don't know her name at the reception dealing with long queue by her self and they guy just chilling over the phone walking around. I felt like this walk in clinic only made for white people not for Asian. As did not feel equal but doctor was good. So why treat people differently.

My son had a suspected fracture on his wrist so I took him to the Woking walk-in centre last weekend Sunday (the 25th of September) and was told we would have to wait between 2 to 3 hours max, after a couple of hours my son was given a x-ray then we was made to sit and wait a further 3 hours to finally be told by a nurse that the doctors had gone home and they couldn’t tell from the X-ray the extent of the damage of my son’s wrist and that they’d have to get a doctor to look at the X-ray the next day and they’d phone us, so they put my sons wrist in a splint (which was too small for him!) and sent us on our way! A 5 hour wait for basically nothing!

And nobody from the clinic called us! So instead my wife had to call them a few days ago to be told my son does have a fractured wrist and has been referred onto the fracture clinic at St Peter’s hospital who would be in contact with us during this week (to date they haven’t contacted us!)

I took my son to the Woking walk-in centre as I believed it would have been easier than taking him to the actual hospital and wouldn’t have to wait as long, how wrong I was! Having to make an 11 year old chid wait for over 5 hours and not being given any diagnosis as to the extent of my sons injury is totally unacceptable!

Now we have to wait for the fracture clinic at St Peter’s hospital to get in contact with us to have us bring him there to the hospital which if I had brought him there in the first place we would have saved all this hassle we are now having to face!

I won’t ever use the Woking walk-in centre ever again and won’t recommend anyone else goes there! use the hospital instead as you’d get far better care at any hospital then what you’d receive here!

Also until now nobody from the fracture clinic at St Peter’s Hospital has got into contact with us regarding them having to take a closer look at my sons wrist, my wife has called the fracture clinic at St Peter’s Hospital many times and left messages but still nothing and apparently the fracture client is only open 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday so how much longer will my son have to wait???

Disgusted. Some nurses just want to get home half hour before they finish, instead of attending to a 98 year woman to get her leg re-dressed. The nurse here knows who she is and shouldn't be in the business if they're not prepared to even assist with someone in need.

I went at 09.30 on a Saturday morning so expected it to be busy. Initially I was seen in Triage and sent to x ray all within an hour but then had to wait a further 2.5 hours to be seen by a Heath practitioner. I hadn’t eaten or had any pain relief for hours and after 3 hours I was told I was next in but then watched 5 people go in ahead of me. I then started to get very anxious and upset and when someone pointed it out to the staff they just said I was told it would be between 3and 4 hours and I could leave if I wanted! I was not told the waiting time by anyone so this was a complete lie. They were so rude I then got very upset. In the care review they were rated as Good with the comment ‘Staff involved and treated people with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect.’
I didn’t experience any respect or compassion’ no appreciation for mental health at all. It’s all process and systems. A complete disgrace to the NHS.

21/11/22. This is the first time I have used the Woking Walk In Centre and I was very impressed. It was nearly a 2 hour wait which I expected, and went prepared for, but the staff and service were superb (for what turned out to be a fractured bone in my foot). Thank you, Tina (and the Receptionist and XRay dept) 👏👌

Went to woking walk in yesterday with my daughter who had a temperature of 39 and higher since Monday. The nurse was very patronising and made me feel dreadful as a parent and told me to go to St.Peters. She told me her throat was clear and after 5 hours at the hospital they said she had a throat infection.Never experienced anything like it before and we could of avoided the hospital if she did her job properly.

Was advised of the waiting time on arrival which was 2 hours, more acceptable than had I gone to A&E. The Doctor I saw was excellent, took time to listen and was thorough. Felt reassured and given good advice about my condition.

Wasn't impressed by the access, the wife has damaged her leg and has to hobble around, it was also extremely painful to touch which is why we went to get it checked.

I'm disabled and have never been there before, parking is not obvious when you don't know it, signage around charge's for disabled is not displayed that I could see so I had to ask inside about that.

Then we had to walk a considerable distance to get to the part we needed as there was no closer to park considering our situations, and then all the way back over 4 hours later, it was a serious challenge for us as my wife is my carer.

The waiting time was ridiculous, but considering all the challenges they are facing you can't blame them, and some of the things people were going in for highlights just how massive it's service is being hindered by many who really just need to use common sense, something very lacking by many these days, if you have a cough what would you do?

Go and join a 4 hour (or longer) queue to be told you have a cough, go and get some cough mixture, or go to the chemist you would be going to after and buy it to start with, 4 hours or 5 minutes, I wonder. 🤔

If you go in for a cough and sniffles then go to the chemist, let those who are more urgent get timely help, in our case it was a possible blood clot, turned out to be muscle related, but that needs to be checked, a cough a chemist can help with.
