Didn't know this hospital existed until somebody told me,
On arrival my daughter parked in the Hospital car park, free of charge.
Our wait was Less than one hour, the staff were polite and helpful, the doctor explained in full what the problem was,the X Ray department staff were speedy and helpful.
I consider my treatment very positive and less stressful than I imagined.
My compliments to all.

We looked up ‘walk in centre’ (a Sunday) for my father in law who had three very swollen and painful fingers and Townlands came up. We were met with a straight talking receptionist who asked what injury he had and when we said we couldn’t be sure what caused the swelling were told they had no X ray machine, presumably in case it was broken. When we said that we were worried it could be an infection the nurse came out defensively stating it didn’t look like it. We hadn’t realised that it was a minor injuries unit until that point. Would have preferred if they tried to offer a solution, rather than what they couldn't do. We were truly worried for him, and made to feel as if we were a nuisance. The nurse did see him, but couldn’t do anything in the end. A little showing you care and empathy goes a long way. He was treated at the minor injuries in Reading the next day with antibiotics for a suspected infection.

Had a biopsy in the Dermatology department yesterday and I can’t believe what a pleasant experience it was. Professional and such friendly service. Thank you very much

2 visits to Small Injuries unit. Waiting times were 5m and 90 minutes. Can't complain. Both nurses were caring, knowledgeable and professional and a credit to the NHS. So close too!

Quick visit today. Although a 1hour and 15min wait. We did just get into xray. All done in under 2 hours.
Receptionist was really loverly she tended to all the elderly patients who got themselves into a confuzle.
Polite and wonderful people including nurses and xray team.
Thank you

Just witnessed some shocking behaviour of the front desk worker. She was very high rate towards a ambulance worker. I think she needs re-training or to be given the boot. How rude of her, she is in no position to be like this. Disgusted
