The Park Hospital

I’m posting on behalf of my mum Mrs Eleanor Rhodes. Her whole experience of the park hospital , all the staff but especially Mr Berber, her surgeon, has been incredibly positive. Mr Berber explained everything to us both from start to finish, he was kind and patient as well as doing an amazing job in theatre. We are 7 weeks after her op and she’s walking fine, no crutches and absolutely no pain. I and we can’t thank everyone enough for their kindness, warmth and care

Dr Hobbs was lovely, he went through everything with me that was going to happen and was happy to answer any questions… he made me feel at ease having my spinal block . I would highly recommend. The staff were polite and friendly and The hospital was very clean and welcoming. There was even someone asking if anyone would like a drink of tea or coffee whilst waiting.

I am a 81 year old NHS patience who have had both hips replaced at the Park Hospital. From entry in to reception, getting a welcome smile and made to feel at ease. To the nursing staff on the ward who was so helpful and the theatre staff who made me feel relaxed. Mr Reshid Berber my consultant who was brilliant in explaining the procedure and making me feel special. His manner was so caring. Then came the physio. Nick explained and shown me the exerciser that I needed to do to help my recovery to which I thank him. Overall I would recommend the Park Hospital. 5 STAR.

My second stay here for planned surgery and satisfied with every aspect thanks to concientious and diligent clinical staff who displayed professionalism with a human touch and much humour
I have not named individuals as this is a public review but will do so in my letter to the Hospital Manager, who should feel confident that the service at The Park is delivered by staff who practice as they have been trained and do so with commitment
Why only four stars?
Simply because the administrative staff were not so proactive as their clinical colleagues, from whom they could learn so as to improve their contribution to an admirable service.

I had a new hip in July 2022 and all the staff at the Park were brilliant, surgeon, anaesthetist, nurses and catering, everyone. I was well looked after and felt comfortable from the beginning to the end of my stay. I also received excellent aftercare from the physiotherapist, Heather who was amazing. She was interested in me and I had full confidence in her knowledge and expertise. She made me feel at ease and my trust in her was justified.
My surgeon was Mr Benjamin Bloch who listened to all my concerns that had made me delay having an operation for a long time. He was reassuring and easy to talk to and explained in simple language what was involved. Crutches and pain are now a distant memory and being able to walk properly again is a relief beyond words.
I would recommend the Park Hospital.

Wonderful experience from start to finish for private scan! The booking process was super quick and efficient thanks to a very helpful admin lady (Andrea). On the day I was greeted warmly and professionally by all reception areas. Everything was explained carefully to me by the respectful imaging member of staff (Anna) as well as they consultant (Dr Dunn) they made me feel very relaxed and informed about my procedure. Wonderful team! Thank you so much!

I’ve been undergoing treatment for breast cancer at The Park and I’d like to give a big shout out to the team on the oncology unit in the genesis centre…they are absolutely wonderful! They really care and give excellent medical attention. They go above and beyond to make your journey a lot easier. I can’t thank them enough. Thank you very much you’re ace!

I highly recommend the Park Hospital. The welcome I received on the day of my surgery was attentive and thorough. All nursing staff, including HCA’s, the catering team and the theatre staff treated me amazingly well with professionalism, utmost care, dignity and respect. I felt very privileged and safe to receive a high standard of care. My room was very clean and spacious, the food outstanding with plenty of choices. Thank you wholeheartedly for looking after me.
