We shared the spaces for a couple days with cavers while we were going climbing at the Horseshoe Quarry. The hut is very essential but functional, and the people were very nice with us! The rooms are equipped with big bunk beds covered in old mattresses, perfect for groups (you'll need a sleeping bag of course). There's a big kitchen on the ground floor with fridges and stove and a couple of tables, and a living room upstairs.

Nice old chapel is center of TSG. It s reasonably clean and maintained. Depends on what you looki g fir but i lived this place. Same minded people will. Make your stay confi :)

What better way to stay than a caving hut in an old mining town ? Famous for its extensive Peak Cavern system, Castleton is perfect for caving, but also a nice walk if you want a day overground. The people that run the TSG are warm and welcoming. Showers are hot with great pressure. Drying room is very useful. Beds are lined with plastic to make them easy to clean. Warm in the winter time.
