Gorwelion House and Campsite

Daughter had a couple of nights with Brownies recently. What a lovely place. Modern and clean inside and fabulous views. She had a great time. Worth the bumpy lane to get there.

Gorwellion is awesome. I went there million of years ago when I was a brownie and my girls went there more recently. Now I go back to help with a group. Its a wonderful place with wonderful views.

Update
Went again for pack holiday, utterly let down. The building has been let go since the caretaker finished. Not being looked after properly any more. They spent a fortune on the kitchen and it's made it difficult to use. Whoever designed it didn't use it (or quite possibly any kitchen ever). We did not enjoy the gorwelion experience this year.

My daughter had an amazing night with guides she said 'its a beautiful view from the grass.' the only problem I would say is there is an extremely bumby road down.

Dofe campsite, great view. Good facilities.

Fantastic place for ranger, guide, brownie, rainbow camps

Has a kitchen, has half decent toilets, has shower facilities. Endless supply of firewood. If you like camping this’ll be the Hilton for you.
