Excellent Premier Inn!! I stayed here for 2 nights over my wedding day. On arrival speaking to the staff I mentioned i was staying for my wedding. On return to my room on our wedding night they had left a congratulations banner on the bed and a bottle of prosecco and chocolates on the desk! With a card wishing us all the best! This was a very kind gesture from the staff at Melton Mowbray which me and my wife thoroughly appreciated and would like to thank the staff for it finished off a fantastic day for us!
Overall our stay here was great, clean, tidy and a good breakfast with plenty of choice. It is in a great location only 2 minutes from the town centre.
I would happily stay here again
Thank you to the great staff at Premier Inn Melton Mowbray

Stayed here for a month whilst on a work contract and it was such a mixed bag. One staff member was absolutely a godsend going above and beyond when my room mate had a medical issue. Breakfast was ok. Dinner was limited. Most of the front desk staff were kind and thoughtful but they are very understaffed. One person for the whole hotel overnight is so so dangerous. Staff often sat in the office instead of being on the front desk.

The cleaners, however, had a lot to answer for. There were times where I requested room cleans and they ignored it. It took days of nagging to get fresh sheets and towels. There were also bed bugs.... found not just once but on three occasions. Toilets were left uncleaned and shower heads were dirty with black mold. The cleaners also had a habit of singing loudly or playing the radio when turning over rooms which disturbed guests.

You can't open windows and over time the air con will dry out your skin and lips! I was having to slather my face in mousteriser and lip balm hourly by the end of the month.

In terms of being near Melton Mowbray then yes you're close but honestly the town has a church and a pork pie shop and thats really the only good things there. I wouldn't have bothered visiting this place outside of work. Lots of shops boarded up.

How nice to get a proper welcome at reception when we arrived after a long day and a tough journey. It felt like Premier Inn of old, someone who cared. Going to the restaurant was just the same, friendly and professional. Well done all.

Clean room, not aged.
Food extremely limited and £4.29 for a bag of tortilla chips and a dip is a rip off. Main course was curry or past. £10 for a microwave meal.
I like premier inn but won't be staying here again

This hotel was close to where we needed to be. It was clean, and the room was comfortable. I really liked the shower. I enjoyed not having to step out of those very tall bath tubs. I enjoyed my two nights here in this hotel. I didn't hear any noise, and it felt safe. I didn't do any of the food in the hotel so I can't review that.

Friendly and attentive staff. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was fab, dinner not much to choose from but was tasty all the same.
Would definitely stay here again

Don't book this hotel, worst premier Inn I have stayed in, and I have stayed in premier inns all over the country over 15 year's. Guest waiting in reception after 3pm as rooms not ready, told mine was ready but bed wasn't made and dirty room. Given another room, number 5 on ground floor, mould and damp on the walls and dirty carpet and hairs in the sink. The extractor fan in bathroom wasn't working so the room was humid, damp and too hot, hotel was full so no alternative room available. Complained to the manageress, Nicola, she agreed room was dirty and damp and to make an official complaint via email. Two weeks later heard nothing from premier Inn. The restaurant menu has very little choice. Very poor hotel overall, give it a miss.
