Holiday Inn Express Southampton M27, JCT.7, an IHG Hotel

Staff welcoming on arrival, we had a small dog, they gave a him a dog treat which was nice. The room was basic and clean. The bed comfy but pillows very firm. I found that due to that I had disturbed nights sleep. Tea and coffee available in the room though only three milk for two guests. Black coffee it was in the morning. Good power in the shower. One night stay for us so was adequate for our requirements. We have returned since my last review and this time had a great night's sleep. Soft bouncy pillows, air con just right on one of the hottest nights of the summer. Only downside this time I left my cardigan behind. Hey ho.

This is by far the best hotel I have used. The staff from the morning to very late in the evening all very helpful. My son was unwell on our last evening, and the evening staff couldn't help any more, providing cleaning products and evening tumble drying some items. Highly recommended this hotel to anyone

We had a great night’s stay here as part of our short break package for Peppa pig world. Our family room was comfortable, clean and well stocked with tea, coffee and toiletries.

The breakfast buffet was a great selection. Staff were friendly and polite. Best of all, we left a much loved teddy bear behind in our room when we checked out but the staff were able to quickly return it to us when we realised we’d left him behind later in the day.

Paultons Park Hotel stay. Easy to get to. Good location. Rooms are decent, their were 4 of us but we managed for the night. Welcome on arrival was great. Breakfast was a bit manic with other families and lids but good selection and very happy. We had smiles when we left and feel it was a great stay. I'd recommend.

As we arrived the hotel (family of 4), there was a warm sense of welcome.

The staff were brilliant.

We booked a family room however there was hardly any space to move around as there was a double bed and on entering the room, we found that the sofa bed had been pulled out to occupy most is the space.

The bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable but if we had to stay another night, We would definitely book a second room due to the tightness of space.

Lovely hotel with very comfortable rooms at a very good price. The room was a little on the small side, but well equipped and lovely and clean. The breakfast was amazing, unfortunately that was the only meal i sampled here, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time I am in the area. Very pleased!

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 15 years. Although the staff do a great job it’s starting to look tired. Chipped paint and worn stained carpet are obvious. We noticed the presence of security guards walking the grounds, this was disconcerting and brought to our attention the refugee community being housed there. We understand that many people face difficult life circumstances and helping them is important. With that being said we were saddened to see them there and felt a little guilty to be enjoying ourselves on holiday. At time of booking it should been disclosed. We were happy to leave and won’t stay there again. We hope the refugees find better housing soon.

Great staff. Reception very helpful as we thought we had booked twin beds but this hadn't been sent through by Airmiles-even though hotel was full the receptionist managed to sort out a compromise for which we were very grateful. Girl serving at bar also very cheery and helpful. Breakfast very good and included with the price. Have never stayed here before but will definitely return.
