A lovely hotel I hope they can improve on a few things
Arrived and there was a leak from the roof next to reception when I arrived and until I left.
I found staff shortage One staff member in the morning to check out guests, take orders and cook breakfast for guests.
People left in the morning without checking out or paying bills.
Return back to the hotel for a night drink only to find no bar lounge.

I had a nice stay at this hotel. The TV was quite small and the bathroom could have been more clean but it was overall a comfortable experience. The staff were helpful and I enjoyed a coffee in the lobby downstairs.

Stayed for one night. Helen was very friendly and was a great multi tasker. Good value for money, modern rooms and Bathrooms. Really enjoyed the spa area. Would stay again.

We stayed for 3 nights. Monday til Thursday. Its roughly 20-30mins walk into Kental Town Centre. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. The breakfast was very nice and varied. The restaurant menu was also good.

The room was basic but clean, the ensuite bathroom was modern and had a shower over the bath.

The bed was very comfortable and for anyone who gets cold there was a spare blanket in the wardrobe.

We were provided tea making facilities as well as toiletries which came with a mini purple duck which added some humour and was a lovely touch.

We had noted when booking it was for an anniversary and were given a card in the room which again made the experience feel extra special.

The staff have been fantastic for the duration of our stay, friendly, available and kind.

The hotel itself is lovely and the restaurant was amazing with beautiful desserts and a delicious breakfast. The pool was not warm but once in that wasn't a problem, it is a small area but lovely to use for free as a hotel guest.

I would love to come back and for the value for money will be doing.

Cannot fault this hotel, we have stayed a number of times and the food and accommodation are excellent. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Would fully recommend this to anyone staying in the Southern Lakes area.

We've stayed in some lovely hotels over the years, but some are let down by the unfriendly or unhelpful staff, this is definitely not the case at Stone Cross manor. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff were amazing. We had a short break, 30th December 22 to 4th Jan 23, and spent New Years' Eve at the hotel. It was an intimate do, beautiful meal, and some great fun as the staff set about entertaining us with some party games, then we saw in the New Year just like one big happy family.

We'd like to make some special mentions, Helen, the manager was amazing, friendly, very helpful and read our personalities like a book, then there was Hazel, Dena, Ailisa and Charlee, all made our stay special and looked after us so well. The Hotel is lovely, with great facilities, superb food, and a very good location if you want to explore the lakes.

Little note for the owners: as soon as you have an Electric vehicle Charge pod installed, we will be back!

Fawlty towers come to mind!!! Our room was the furthest room from reception with stairs on every level and not prewarned about the access, access to the pool was through the main reception area but we were told that no outdoor shoes were allowed but no slippers were made available !!! Dinner !!!! What a joke 2 poor members of staff to man reception, bar and dining room!!! Starter was over cooked, I recieved my main course and finished it before my husband had even got his !!! Morning 8 am fire alarm went off we came down to breakfast no apologies for the alarm system going of but at least our breakfast was hot and enjoyable we were due to have a return visit but I cancelled it
