Staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the room hadn't been cleaned properly. Tv and sockets hadn't seen a duster In a while. Tv remote was caked in dry food.under the bed was also very dusty. And the windows had cobwebs. The hotel did look like it was undergoing either repairs or a small refurb.

I loved how quiet and spacious the room was. The bed matrices are really good and I enjoyed staying in. Breakfast is not of an expected quality, you eat better in an airplane, hence the four stars. I will stay again though because of all the good parts.

We came years ago and stayed in this hotel and was shocked to find a Petrol Station, a Subway take away and Burger King in a very enclosed space on this site. There is only about five parking spaces which is not suitable for the amount of rooms it accommodates. The room only had the bed in it. No where to place ones clothes. No chairs or a sofa, one big empty space!! The room also smelled of dampness. There was a big puddle in the bathroom as the shower was leaking bouncing onto the taps below then onto the floor.
The receptionist was very nice and helpful as I asked if she had any paper towels so I could mop the bathroom floor she gave me all she had which was hand towels to soak the water up.
For the price of over £80 to stay I was very disappointed and will not be using Travel Lodges again.

It's good, was in a ground floor room with noisy people walking around above so needs more sounds proofing. The burger king and subway were never open and the petrol station didn't have sandwiches so was difficult to get food/breakfast etc.

Arrived late at night after a very long journey from the south. Welcomed by a lovely young lady smiling as soon as we walked through the door, lots of information/directions given, Excellent service from Georgia in the morning too, very polite smiley young lady. Fantastic nights sleep in a lovely clean spacious room, very peaceful settled night, cleaners were all lovely too and helpful with extra towels etc when asked. Lovely stay highly recommended, will definitely be staying again

An OK Travelodge conviently placed next to a somewhat busy road. There are plenty of car parking spaces at the travelodge which do accommodate for the amount of rooms they offer (which is 35). The staff at reception are decent and get things sorted for you quite quickly. The room was OK. The carpet looked quite worn out and could certainly do with replacing. The bathroom looked quite clean. Although, the soap dispensers were sort of like those ones in Premier Inn. Quite tacky. The TV was quite modern and functioned like it should. It was easy enough to connect my cousins Nentendo Switch to it without messing up any of the TV functionality. The was plenty of tea and coffee supplies in the room although the desk it was on also looked a bit worn out. The beds were clean and comfy unlike beds you find in other hotels which always have the springs popping out. The wall looked like it had been through a tough time as it almost looked like small holes had been punched through the wall. Although I only ordered for 3 people, the room actually had 1 more bed then what was advertised which is always a bonus. Unfortunately, this hotel seems to actract the worst type of people. The was a group of women sitting on the stairs in the dresseing gowns for some reason. The room opposite sempt to be full of people running in and out and keeping me awake for an hour while I was trying to sleep. I noticed an amount of people vaping and smoking outside of the hotel. Of course, these people are bringing their awful cigarette snells inside of the hotel which doesnt make for a great atmosphere. To be honest, I probably wont stay in this hotel again.

Rooms are clean and tidy and beds comfortable. Staff are very pleasant and efficient. Location is just on the edge of town and two minutes walk from the Vine inn, perfect. Only issue is the soap dispensers in the bath/shower. Stayed here new year weekend and now 13th and 14th January. Each time, the shower's soap dispenser gives one good squirt, then nothing. Good job I have some gel from other hotels. I guess I've been unlucky. Soon find out next Wednesday morning ony next visit.

Pillows hard but otherwise good value for money, receptionists very helpful and happy.
