Holiday Inn Dover, an IHG Hotel

Great location to stay if traveling early the following morning. We arrived fairly late and still received a friendly welcome. The chap looking after the reception area, opened the bar for us and was very attentive. We will stay here again as priced well, great location, friendly staff and very clean

Great breakfast with a chef standby to take your egg order. Unlike some other Holiday Inn that wont even provide cheese with scramble eggs, this one does have both.

Should add more selection to meat choices like kosher or halal. All meat options are pork only.

Rooms were sufficient, quite and had a good stay with family.

My Husband and I didn't actually stay overnight! However, we had the most amazing Afternoon Tea, all food was freshly cooked/prepared and totally delicious!! Choice of Tea or Coffee, as much as you wanted on offer too!! Staff were absolutely superb, professional, friendly, polite, welcoming with a smile!! Cannot rate them high enough and the young lady who waited on our table was an absolute delight!! Thank you all, so very much xx

The hotel is in a lovely location and the grounds are kept spotless as is the rest of the hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Chinthu on the reception is fantastic, full of advice and always smiling. The bedrooms are really good value for money. Breakfast is spot on. I would recommend this hotel to anyone

Great service! The Italian restaurant there is amazing! Also very convenient that they have EV chargers there. We stayed here the night before taking the ferry and then again the night we came back from France, we will definitely stay here again in the future

My experience of the Holiday Inn is the use of the Grand Marquee for a social event that I helped organise for 260 people. From our first meeting with Sophie and Francesca, from the Events team, they were very helpful and understanding of what our requirements were. They were both very professional and they were obviously backed by the whole management team. The chef was able to supply us with a bespoke 2 course menu for the event which was for both adults and children. Due to the number of attendees the hotel arranged for extra staff to ensure that the food was served a quickly as possible on the day. The food was to a very good standard and all the staff were very polite and helpful.

Went here for a boxing day dinner with the family. Were originally booked into Bella Italia but was offered the carvery and buffet if we wanted. What an absolute delight! Couldn't believe the selection offered and every bit was fantastic! The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us throughout. Would 100% recommend this place. Value for money was outstanding too. If I could give 6 stars I would! X x

Nice, warm and friendly hotel. I found Manoj on reception to be particularly helpful and welcoming, he went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay and that I had everything I needed … an asset to the place. I ate in the restaurant on site and found to food to be nice enough.. Room was comfortable and clean. Only disappointment was when a man in a suit along with other suited men who appeared to work for the hotel walked into the function room I hired the next day, without even knocking and despite having a big sign on the door saying health checks were in progress so not to enter. No apologies given either, they just left after interrupting the privacy of a client I had with me at that time!
