Another brilliant experience. The staff were extremely friendly. It was incredibly useful that there was a luggage store. The room was spacious and well worth the money. A wonderful trip to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We will be back next year!

Average hotel a bit outside center of London. We stayed there for five nights. The rooms look like they have been partially renovated and were clean, the beds too wobbly for our taste. Our room had a king and a single bed and was very cramped, you could literally not walk past another person. Room service was spotty, sometimes not enough fresh towels, on other days no fresh coffee cups. The bathroom lighting and fan unit was old and noisy. Unfortunately you could not open the windows at all, so no way to air our room. Breakfast was OK and what you would expect, and exactly same every day. On the positive side there are excellent bus connections to the city, an easy 35 to 40 min direct ride.

Though it was a bit more out of the city of London than we expected.... it was nice. The rooms are small as they are in Europe.... but cute, and very clean. They had a nice restaurant on the premises. The bus stop to central London is right out the door from the Hotel. The owners/ employees were very nice and helpful.

I would have rated it higher..... but there was construction going on..... maybe it’s done now.

Be warned that because of the construction and a lot of stairs going into the hotel.... so if you have any ambulatory issues it could cause a problem.

Would definitely go there again.

Over all cleanliness, its good! The rooms are very small, noisy both from the inside and out. (air condition system and doors banging)
Made two reservation request NOT one has been given. Staff are over all good, exceptionally the young lady at the reception who speaks french, she is super friendly, and also the staff at the breakfast.
Location and budget wise, its OK. far from the city but bus transportation are just around the corner.
I might comeback, but NOT staying again in the basement and NOT ends apart with my kids!

The hotel offers good value for money rooms (for London anyway). The rooms are compact but clean and well decorated. The bathroom was tiny, the shower didn't drain very well and the extractor fan didn't work.

Basically nothing worth complaining about but a few simple things could massively improve the hotel.

If you’re the slightest bit disabled, this is not for you. To many extremely small steps to get in front door. Hallway very narrow and dirty. Room not even big enough for a child let alone two adults. Bathroom must have been a closet at one time. If you sat on the toilet, your knees would hit the sink. You needed to turn sideways to get in shower because there’s the sink. The bed left something more to be desired and there was scaffolding around the whole place which I wish we’d have know ahead of time as we would have booked elsewhere. Never traveling to London before, we had no idea of what to expect in a hotel so we chose to go with Best Western as we stay there in the states. This was far below even our expectations and we will definitely look to stay elsewhere on our next trip there. Even though we don’t spend a lot of time in our room on holiday, we do expect to be comfortable. We do smoke and have no issues going outside to smoke but there should be some seating, even a stump would have been ok, but there was nothing. You had to go out back to their small parking lot that held six cars barely. We almost felt unwelcome here overall.

Stayed here almost a week. The staff were all very friendly, accommodating and overall exactly what you want from a hotel. The security guards were very helpful for letting you in at night and were also friendly and cordial. The rooms whilst small were comfortable for me (1 person) and well worth the price.

I will definitely stay here again when I travel through London. Thanks everyone at BW Peckham! I'm super grateful.

Best western emailed us on the morning of our stay to tell us they were closed. No alternative accommodation was offered. This leaves us in very difficult circumstances.
