We stayed here for two nights (two rooms) and it was really good! Sure, the carpets are thinning and some areas are a bit tired but I don’t go on holiday to look at carpets. It was the perfect base for Thorpe Park, with very clean rooms and comfortable beds. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was good. The fridge in our room didn’t work but if that had been a problem, I’d have asked at reception. Didn’t need it so it didn’t bother us. Thanks for a great stay and we’ll be recommending to others staying in the area.

The front of the hotel looks a bit shabby on the main road, but I had a good-sized, quiet well-maintained room with a nice view of the river round the back. Reliable WiFi. Friendly staff, even with the 'security' staff I think due to the homeless or asylum seeking guests that are housed there in another part of the hotel that you walk through from reception. Carpets were tatty in those places, but I'm told they are in the course of being replaced. Their Riverside terrace on the river-facing side was pleasant, reasonably priced, and the Pizza I had was excellent, along with their other food choices I expect. Craft beer too. The room price was excellent, being about half of that of a similar venue in the area, possibly reflecting the hotel's 'duel' use. For all these reasons, I would stay there again.

Room and hotel dated and tatty, if you enjoy a good night sleep I would ovoid this place... Would help if the windows sealed properly! Made worse by the busy road opposite. However the location is a big bonus, stunning walking/cycling paths near by and close to the shopping centre & Heathrow airport.

The hotel is rated 4 star...however the facility's deem otherwise.
1) no water in the rooms ..no mini fridges
2) lunch menu is limited to bacon sandwiches, salad and soups. (Dinner starts 7pm!)
3)no dressing gowns and slippers
4) spa closes at 8pm but was told to leave at 7:30pm for staff to clean
5) no food avaliable between 9am-12pm

Stayed for 2 nights recently and would definitely return. The hotel is dated and could do with paint work freshened up but it is clean and has comfortable beds. We stayed in room 61, quite a large room, very clean and comfortable but the water pressure for the shower was very poor. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is great, right on the river Thames. Had lovely walks along the Thames and into the town for food and drinks. The hotel location is ideal for a trip to Thorpe park as it's only minutes away in the car.

Check in was fast and friendly. My room was on the road side so was quite noisy at night with vehicles offloading. Very nice room and comfy bed. Water pressure for the shower was very poor though. The hotel is currently taking refugees. The ones I met were friendly and quiet so no problem. Overall a really positive stay.

I went for a murder mystery night. Everybody and all staff are so friendly. Rooms are big and terrace is amazing. I loved my stay and would stay again . Its a 5 min walk to town. They could improve on the cooking.

Nice clean room. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great. Marked the room down as the water pressure was shockingly low. 4-5 minutes to fill the sink and bearly enough out of the shower to get wet.
