The Highwayman Hotel Dunstable

Just popped in for a light lunch and what an unexpected treat! I ordered a jacket spud, cheese, coleslaw and a salad .. well the coleslaw was freshly made and the salad was a good size with added rocket, toms and cucumber sticks and the spud was yummy! Then I had a deconstructed apple crumble and custard which was lush.
Staff are so lovely and personable I will be back.

Just been for lunch and have to say food wasn't great, just had the Korean bbq chicken burger with chips, the chips were supposed to be salt and pepper fries but instead came out with what looked like a pot of seasoning powder plonked on top. My son had a little roast dinner which he didn't enjoy either, cold chicken breast not even roast chicken and Yorkshire pudding wasn't cooked enough still like batter at the bottom, staff where lovely just a shame about the good today..

Excellent. Rooms were amazing just lacked a mirror and a hand rail. Very clean other than the window in the bathroom but I'd imagine it's difficult to get to. Definitely stay again

Plus + Good food, better staff.
The room I stayed in was a twin single , nice size , warm and clean, ok decor, good clean bathroom.
Half the rooms are ground floor rooms, depending on availability.
Staff helped me take my food up to my room 3/4 days I stayed, very helpful.

Minus - You must arrive on the first night to collect your key card before 22:00 or after 07:00 (not great for night shift workers).
Breakfast stops at 09:00 wich was kinda early.
Selective availability on menu items and they lost my food for 20min on the first day I ordered. No trays for customers to take their food to rooms.

Super easy check in; room was squeaky clean throughout. Would recommend. 🙂
