This hotel is very comfortable and cute, and it is in a great location if you want to see the town and the cathedral. My wife and I stayed 3 nights for a short break from London. The staff were very kind, and made our stay perfect. I was especially surprised and happy that they were able to provide a fantastic breakfast for me, even though I have multiple food allergies which are difficult to accommodate. (Note: I warned them ahead of time that I have allergies, and others with allergies should do the same so that they have time to prepare for you!)

Beautiful hotel in the centre of Canterbury. Near the cathedral. The personal is very kind and helpful, Betty for all. The room is very kind and quiet, although is on high street St Peter’s street. The breakfast is ok and the toast is well toasted. I suggest it ! 👍🏻

I stayed over for a night after getting the ferry to Dover, all the staff and guests are friendly, polite, talkative, informative. I met Matt in the evening, Betty in the morning. The building is ancient, like 500 years old and centrally located which meant I caught a few guided tours as I walked out. It looks great in the bar /restaurant area. And the room is very clean and modern with a phone, TV, remote, and windows that open. Clean floors, sheets, table, chairs, toilet, bathroom, towels, grout.
Soap, shampoo, gel, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, provided in the rooms, mine being room number 4 single. The bath filled fast and the shower is temperature controlled too. I wish I had thought of bringing bath salts.
An information booklet also provided in the room and presumably the others, containing the wifi password, names and phone numbers of local businesses one might likely call upon.
The bar is great and the breakfast was definitely plentiful and delicious. A huge range to choose from.
The only thing is that I couldn't get the bedside light to switch on, I think the light bulb had gone. But it wasn't an issue as I could use the TV if I really felt lazy. It's not a negative, these things happen, bulbs do blow. Or maybe I just didn't know how to use it. That's most likely tbh.

A very nice quaint little hotel with a great location just off High Street and minutes walk from everything in Canterbury city centre. We stayed in a family room on the top floor and it was great for four people, just note that you will need to carry your luggage up a narrow staircase. Nice continental breakfast.

The family room’s very spacey and comfortable, and cold breakfast was included. The hotel’s very close to shops and restaurants so it’s very convenient. It was a lovely stay :)

Honestly service was very good! Thank you blond lady at the desk, then the bar, and then during breakfast. I don't know your name, you knew a lot about the media and the Queen.
😁👍 Room wasn't bad at all. bathroom shower was slower than a dyslexic at a spelling competition and the toilet was snug which was a giggle.

Best healthy Breakfast in all my travelling days. Pleasant staff. Perfect room for my needs. Your photo shows the Marlowe Theatre opposite.

Lovely room. Clean. Good continental breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Water for a bath was not hot enough. Canterbury is a popular city with lots of young people so in any room in Center that overlooks the street you need earplugs. Over all, this is a very nice hotel.
