New landlord smaller menu but delicious food.

Food was very good value for money, hot and cooked well. Would highly recommend a visit, landlord was very welcoming and friendly.

Had a very pleasant family evening with a meal at The Griffin yesterday. Would recommend the mixed grill - excellent value. The publican/chef is very attentive and couldn't be more helpful. We rounded off the evening with a game of pool and darts. Its nice to see the village pub in good hands!

Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Sunday lunch is amazing and a very reasonable price.
Craig the Chef, Owner, Barman, decorator, cellar man and all round comedian cooks the best steak.
I’m extremely particular about how steak should melt in your mouth and Craig’s steak does exactly that.

Very pleasant. Had a nice few pints and a few games of pool. Didn't eat, so can't comment on the food but the landlord was very friendly and kind; when my friend's young toddler kicked up a fuss, rather than grumbling, the landlord brought a little toy truck over for him to play with and settled him straight away! Made the atmosphere feel very friendly and welcoming.

Good beer. Good food. Nice atmosphere. Friendly landlord. Best pub in the area.

Great beer and food and very reasonably priced. My family love going there.
