The Residence at The Nottinghamshire

Beautiful rooms here. Fabulous large comfy clean bed and amazing shower room with washbasin and WC with heated floor. Great inbuilt wardrobe that lights up on opening! Real creature comforts set in a beautiful setting! Great breakfast with continental choices as well as cooked English! We came here for a family wedding and it was a well presented day with helpful staff. Would recommend and a bonus if you play golf as the golf grounds are beautifully set out!

The rooms are decently sized with very comfortable beds.

The bathrooms (or at least ours) was quite incredible actually. Very modern with heated floors, non steam mirrors and a smart toilet.

Had an amazing wedding. Food and staff was spot on.

The hotel is not great at all, first room was tiny hardly any space to move around with a partner. There's no telephone in any of the rooms to reach out to reception, no shower caps, no bedroom slippers, no dressing gown. The only good thing is the showers 🚿 are great, but we won't be back there again as we come from another country and they expect us to use our phones to call the reception number on the key card. There's also no password for the WiFi, just a waste of money.

It's impeccable as it's a golf club, nice rooms 2 bottles of water in the room for the night clean roomy nice lay out and drive range was open till quite late! Only real down point, as i work away from home so often check in late, the restaurant closed really early! Last orders kwarter past 8 (did arrive very quickly and was ok food)

Very beautiful hotel. Amazing views of the golf course from the conservatory. The food in the restaurant is also top notch. The steak and ale pie was amazing. Very comfortable bed and huge bathroom. Nice water pressure too. The thermostat wasn't working correctly in one of the rooms but the staff very generously offered to move us into another room and also gave us a very strong portable heater that we could use.
