The owner is very nice and helpful. There is off street parking for several vehicles too. The rooms however feel very old. The bathroom only contains a shower and a toilet with the sink being in the actual room itself. Somebody had been smoking in the bathroom as there was a lingering smell for the duration of our stay. The beds felt uncomfortable with what feels like waterproof bedding. The overall cleanliness isn't that great despite regular visits from the cleaner during our stay. This is a shame as it has potential to be a really nice place.

Dennis was extremely helpful and accommodating during my stays here for several weeks. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre and even closer to a park.

Good low cost accommodation, clean and comfortable, good shower, nice breakfast for extra £8.50. Ideally located for Rugby Town centre. Friendly welcome, and parking available. Plenty of different sized rooms and pleasant lounge area. Excellent value.

Nice guest house considering the price/quality ratio. Did not try the breakfast service but comfortable room and very friendly staff. Just a note for mattresses that need urgent change.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! I wouldn’t let my dog stay at this “hotel”. The Chinese couple who own this place, Diamond house, are FRAUDSTERS!!! They double charged me for two nights when I only stayed for one. They did this by holding my initial transaction, then two days later charged me for another one. When I realised on my bank statement. I rung Diamond house to be told by the man he doesn’t even have a record of my correct transaction on the night I actually stayed or the one two days later, on the night I didn’t stay. His conclusion was that he could not help me at all and go and find out myself. THEY ARE DAYLIGHT ROBBERS! And I have also found out I certainly am not the first person who has experienced this. Also the place is tired and run down, bed not comfortable, dirty, TV didn’t work. The list goes on!

The location was good, the hospitality was fantastic however the rooms were very basic and the bed was held together with planks of wood.
