Holiday Inn Lincoln, an IHG Hotel

Room was a little dated but very clean and comfortable. View of the wharf was nice.

Bar area was clean and staff were attentive and polite. Breakfast was good with a variety of options available. Staff happy to help with custom requests and refills.

We stayed here with our little dog, the staff were so lovely and friendly, very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast, slept well.
You should be proud of your staff !! Makes a change to staff happy and smiling in their job!

Visited for one night whilst seeing friends in the city. A lovely welcome and manged to find a room even though i was a bit early. Nice efficient check in and easy nvigation to my room. Room was to a good standard. Not sure about the electronic tablet for ordering room service, seems a bit easy for younger people to just order, and was on and a visual distraction when trying to sleep.



The location is fantastic, a short walk from all the sights (uphill to the cathedral) and railway station.



Check out was just as efficient. Didn't use the catering facilities. Would definitely come back again,

Excellent hot self-service breakfast and waiter service for evening dinner. Food was excellent in quality and choice, together with very good and attentive staff.
Sadly the bedrooms overlooking the beautiful riverside Wharf were not so good with very dim lighting, and a dangerous recently renovated bathroom containing a shower area with no hand rail for support and an extremely high over 7 inch step to enter and leave the slippery wet surface. Again nothing to hold on to and I caught my foot on that wet and slippery
step and went crashing down onto the tiled floor!! A very painful experience with a 7" bruise to show on my hip! Really think Health and Safety would condemn this installation. There were 2 lifts to serve 4 floors but one was out of service meaning long waits for people on the 4th floor trying to go down. Many guests had mobility problems and could not use stairs so it was a problem. Health & Safety officers need to inspect these situations as they could lead to serious accidents. On the last morning of our stay my bed was not made up at all nor was the room checked by anyone. No explanation was forthcoming from Reception except "they were busy". What a shame to have to report all that when it should be normal hotel service!

The location is great and the view very good. Hotel looks modern, but my part of the hotel was old and rundown. The carpet was filthy, as most hotel carpets are. The aircon didn't work. It was probably too old. The reception staff were good and helpful. They changed my room from ground to top floor, at my request. Definitely NOT value for money.

Lovely location close to many eating places within sight of the historic castle and cathedral.
Breakfast very pleasant using good quality produce - I always rate a hotel breakfast by the quality of its sausages.
Staff friendly throughout the hotel from reception to breakfast staff.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. Room was reasonable, and easy to access.
Breakfast was very good. Children were made welcome and assisted by waiting staff.
An otherwise excellent stay was marred by failure to disclose car parking fees prior to our non refundable booking.
