The New Swan Hotel

We visited the Swam for a 2 night stay as we were participating in the triumph off road.
I have to say it was one of the best pubs I’ve been too. The staff bent over backwards to help, so accommodating . The breakfasts were amazing and whilst we did not try the lunches I’ve no doubt they were just as good. If your a biker too it’s a really great place to stay and little touches like the dry room really added to the experience.
Just brilliant.

The staff checking us in gave wrong information on breakfast timing and we were reprimanded the next day by staff in restaurant. When checking out the same staff did not want to honour the discount given by booking.com and ask to take it up with booking.com which we did. The owner was super friendly and very helpful with tips on places to visit. The location was ideal if you want to explore the surroundings of the natural forest reserve. Very nice and comfy room with internet TV too. The bed was really comfortable. Would recommend staying but the reception staff needs more training.

Stayed while doing the BMW skills course a few weeks ago. The hotel is gearing up for bikes with an extension being constructed for more accomodation. A band playing on the Saturday night was a bonus & seemed all the village turned out so a cracking night. Breakfast was super but no evening food at present although you can bring a takeaway in or there are other restaurants in the area. The chap running the place is spot on & the staff are real friendly. If you're in the area give it a bash.

Lovely stay; clean modern room with everything you need. Delicious breakfast, friendly staff and locals. Male manager was very welcoming too.

Excellent place to stay great hosts who cannot do enough to make your stay a pleasure, Rachel and the other bar staff do an amazing job looking after the customers at this very busy pub/hotel.

Amazing location, bar and rooms. Couldn’t recommend it more highly. Staff are beyond friendly and helpful.

My partner and I spent 3 nights here recently, always a great experience when we visit. Love what Gareth and the team are doing. Love the beer garden, food gets better with every visit.
Special shout out to Rachel, she is so welcoming, and great at what she does.
The room was beautiful and so relaxing with a great view of the Varteg.
We will definitely be back!!!
