Iris Hotel

Nice little vintage hotel on the beach. Service is excellent. They promptly helped clear up some booking issues. The room is a bit small, but it's an old building. Other than a complicated shower, the room is not bad and has an excellent view of the ocean. .

If I could give this 0 stars I would 100%!!! Absolutely dreadful would not return or recommend, no hot water in shower or sink plus the shower was blocked with hair and green gunge!, room was in a basement with little light, bed had cleanish bedding on but was stained with make-up, mattress was shot and one side was worse than the other (springs not sprung), lots of cobwebs and dirty glasses&cups in room. When we asked to be moved to another room or if the hot water was coming on the response was "we are fully booked sorry" - we were so tired and couldn't find another room that late in the day that we just had to cut our losses and rough it.

Room clean apart from bath mat and sheet. Bed comfy, excellent location, walking distance to pier, shops. Staff friendly. Only serve continental breakfast which was a disappointment, Staff member was hovering around our table making us feel uncomfortable. Went to local supermarket cafe had a lovely, proper breakfast at a fraction of the cost.

The room needs a face lift. Broken sink handles wardrobes, but clean. The breakfast was cold, not appetising at all not worth the money. The staff were lovely. The location is brilliant, overall to get your head down ok but I wouldn't go again. Photo is the view when you step outside. Parking is a night mare...free parking from 4pm -10am or maybe 5pm -10am if you can find a space outside

Manager and her under manager not helpful or polite. The young people who worked there were polite and having to tell lies for the manager, such a shame they deserve some where better. Hotel needs a lot of work. Maybe a visit from health and safety wouldn't go amiss

Very good hotel over all but the only thing I don’t like is there bed very disappointed with that they wrote in the ad that it’s a king bed but in reality they make the king bed by merging the two beds so that is the only thing I don’t like otherwise very good clean hotel and view from the room is also very pleasing

Small but very pleasant rooms, well kept and tidy bed would have benefited from a firmer mattress but thats my preference.
Quiet at night also.

Spotless room, comfortable and warm. Great shower /bathroom, very clean. Bed soft and comfy. Beautiful sea view and near to venue cymru. And the staff were very friendly and welcoming..
But don't come here if you want an alcoholic drink or a cooked breakfast in the morning.
