I booked a table for food as a part of my Nephews 16th Birthday treat. The welcome was very friendly. The inn has amazing character. We were seated in a quiet area on what seemed like a very busy Saturday. The menu has very many choices. The food was amazing. The Steak was reasonably priced, cooked to perfection and the drinks were not over priced either. We shall definitely be coming back again.

What a little gem this was? We went for some evening food and the menu was amazing! Far too much choice really but some fabulous dishes. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and the staff were super! So lovely, happy to chat and checked on us for extra drinks etc very happy.

Sat in our hotel and googled local pubs for food. Chose Ty Gwyn which turned out to be excellent. We had great food in a real pub environment - the shepherds pie and the pork belly were tasty and very nicely presented and very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and efficient. Can’t believe some of the reviews below - we loved the food - and the place and the service! Would have eaten here every night if we would have stayed in the area longer - they have a varied and interesting menu that supports local produce too!!! Thank you.

Incredible food. We were lucky enough to get a table last night on the offchance - understandably very popular place so book ahead if you can. The interior of the Inn is wonderful, please don't ever refurbish! Lovely relaxed atmosphere. We would love to stay here at some point, was unaware that they had accomodation - looks very good! Great menu choices. RECOMMENDED!!

Squeezed in a large party of 15 at short notice on Saturday afternoon. Food was absolutely delicious! Service also great. Highly recommend!

Happened on this place one evening when travelling back from our holiday, and I am so glad we did.

We stayed only for food and a drink so I can't comment on the accommodation. However, the food is top notch, really tasty. The menu also has a good range of interesting food, obviously someone has put some thought into the menu.

The pub itself is also a wonder, plenty of history on show. A warm and cozy place to sit and relax, a real joy (take a look at the photos for more).

I would suggest you book ahead if you want to eat, as I think we got lucky in terms of finding the last available table!

Went to restaurant not rooms. The atmosphere is very relaxed. I loved the original dishes. Since, I know few restaurants around, I was suprised with the extended variety of dishes. Either me, my wife and son enjoyed the quality and care put into it. We will sure repeat soon.

Excellent food, but difficult to choose - there was so much choice!! Required a doggy bag for half of my wife's shoulder of lamb, which was delicious. Will definitely be coming back.
