Plas Penaeldroch Manor

Plas Penaeldroch Manor was the perfect stop for us. We made the trip to North Wales with our kids to take part in some of the attractions. We previously didn't know about this hotel but it was suggested as a top choice in the area. Mike & Carrie that own the building have made a great effort as this building was in dire need of restoration and refurbishment. The works aren't complete but what they have done so far is up to a really good standard and getting to know the couple we have great faith and confidence that once they have completed the project it will be outstanding! The owners could not be more attentive but we didn't feel pressured at all, just quite happily at home there which was great. The best of luck in the future!

We have just returned from a family weekend at this hotel.
The owners were fantastic, lovely people who made us very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and are very knowledgeable about the area.
It has a good location, being just slightly out of the mania of Bets-y-Coed.

The rooms are spacious, homely and immaculately clean, with great amenities and great views.
The breakfast was FANTASTIC - a delicious belly buster!
We loved the tour of the old house and are definitely looking forward to visiting again.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. You wont find more accommodating and friendly hosts. It is so relaxing, the beds are really comfortable, breakfasts cooked fresh to order. Would love to come and take you guys out for dinner. The use of the office has changed my life and I can never thank you enough.

Stunning location and beautiful old Manor. The comfortable suites have everything you need and there are so many activities in the area to do from Mountain climbing to the beaches. The tasty breakfasts set you up for the day and nothing is too much trouble for the lovely Carrie and Mike:) we went as a Family of 17 from a baby to a 71 year old and two dogs! We were made to feel so welcome and we will definitely be back ☺️.

The hospitality was outstanding. The rooms where very clean and spacious. Blinds for better darkness in the morning could have been nice.
Very close to hiking trails around.

Place is stunning, river just outside puts into sleep like nothing else, owners are the most sweet people ever ! Breakfast so amazing, great hospitality , definitely coming back !!! Recommend to anyone

Last minute trip for family of 5 and our dog. The accommodation was perfect, good location, comfy beds and good food. Host were friendly and welcoming, loved the extra touches and welcome items in the room. Good luck with the renovations, our room was to high standard and the place will be amazing when complete.
