Lovely Sunday roast, we don't know the area so walked in, hopeful they would have a table. Staff worked it so they could accommodate us even though they were fully booked. The best roast beef and all the trimmings in a long time. Amazing value too. Will be making a trip back soon.

Fantastic friendly service, and delicious food for everyone - we arrived quite late and the staff were still very happy to serve us. We enjoyed the great vegan options they had to offer. We will definitely be back!

Had Sunday lunch here. Got in at 12 to avoid the scramble later on and I highly recommend doing that.
Fabulous value for money. Good choice, good portions, friendly and speedy service.
Would choose this as a regular venue, no problem.

Only stopped by for some food, and it was incredible! Presentation and ingredients that looked and tasted Michelinesque but at prices that were nothing to grumble at. Service was outstanding and I will definitely be returning in the future.

Had the George burger was nice and filling to be fair, the beer battered oinion rings were very greasy. My partner had the Ribye steak which wasn't the best considering the price it was very tough and chewy seamed more like a sirloin to be honest but we have eaten there before and it's been lovely so will give it another go.

Booking App not very user friendly for menu reading and booking , George Hotel website didnt seem to show menu, until you had booked through 3rd party vendor .. Very helpful table service. Burger was very good , the Steak my family member had was great, from little share I had. The room we were in off to left as you enter was a little too cool and bright lights decor for me , but other than that, I'd be back to try a Steak next time I'm in Chepstow!

Can't comment on rooms... But friendly staff and decent coffee if you're just waiting for your partner to finish shopping... Food looks pretty nice as well...

Didn't stay at the hotel, just had a meal with family. Service was very good even though busy. The food is very nice and at a reasonable price.
