From the time we checked in until we left the staff were excellent, Louise and Fiona on reception were polite, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We stayed two nights in a very clean comfortable room. Took advantage of the treatments on offer, Faye was lovely and very friendly, attentive, in a pleasant surrounding, great for wellness. Restaurant had quality fresh food, well presented. Staff very knowledgeable regarding the suitability of wines for our meal. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

Stayed here back for a weekend back in the early part of this year. Excellent Service from the initial booking to the check out. We stayed in the Oriel Spacious room, with lovely views and great in room facilities. We ate in their restaurant the first night and everything was to a very high standard. Would highly recommend.

A fantastic hotel to stay which was welcoming with a modern boutique style.
The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and nice to relax. Lastly the breakfast was well organised, tasted great and the staff were friendly, helpful and always on hand to ensure we had a pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

There is nothing bad to say about this hotel. In honesty this might just be a five star hotel. The staff are all amazing, the room was so modern and clean and the wiew over the ocean is hard to beat. The environment around is beautiful and its just a 10 minutes to the blue water. Very well worth a visit!

🚘 Plenty parking and a warm welcome despite arriving really late in the night after a six hour drive from Yorkshire.

🛌 I stayed in the turret (?) room 117 for one ☝🏼 night, which was apparently a free upgrade on arrival, whether or not that’s true, it definitely makes you feel good… It was a spectacular room, not much window space, but that is forgivable given the size and unique features about the room, there is bottled water, not every hotel gives free water out. There are coffee pods and good features in the room to make the stay easier. Eg safe, iron etc. There is a view to the sea from this room.

☎️ When I first booked the hotel, the hotel went out of the way to call me and make a reservation for dinner. I hadn’t quite realised what I’d signed up for, and found it rather odd that I had to make a reservation. I thought it might be due to the remoteness of the hotel and to help with catering facilities, but on arrival, I now realise this was due to the quality of the service/food on offer.

🥘 the food was exceptional! The menu is small and limited, which I think is a good thing, it stops you feeling overwhelmed. The taste was incredible, although I would say the portions were rather small. This is a sacrifice for quality, presentation and service. The restaurant itself is rather small, a little dark, although it was November and 9 pm at night, but it did have a lovely atmosphere. I felt rather awkward in my tracksuit, eating alone, (business trip) but I didn’t feel uncomfortable and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

🍻 There are two bar areas. One is a small snug and the other is long and open next to the reception. It was possible to grab a few drinks after dinner late into the evening again, possibly out of season, the bar was almost empty, but the waitress was super friendly and super helpful and she made every attempt to return and serve me every 30 minutes or so, despite nobody else being in the bar area and having to be of service in two different parts of the hotel.

🧾 Before I even had fallen asleep, working late into the night, I checked my emails to find a check out early email from the hotel. I clicked it and then I could already see all the things I had eaten/drunk; I could pay for my invoice early. I did this and it avoided any unnecessary delays in the morning. I thought it was a great idea if only so many other hotels offer this service.

🏃🏻 Checkout was super fast and friendly, but I do believe hotels could do a little bit more to make this experience more thoughtful/memorable other than handover your keys pay for your bill. On arrival, there was an upgrade, so how can hotels offer something similar on departure? Even if it is a small, token gift, a small bag of sweets for the car. It makes the stay/experience more memorable.

☝🏼 I was only here for one night, and less than 12 hours, but it was worth every penny (£131 room / £70 food and 4 beers).

🏆 I would stay here again without hesitation. The only reason I have given this four stars is simply because I don’t think I stayed there enough to explore all aspects of the hotel to warrant five.

Awesome escape for a night and a fancy, tasty dinner. Don't forget to book both as last time I was unable to get in the restaurant. We got a free room upgrade with a lovely introduction. Our room opened onto a sea view or an actual art gallery. That's it! I can only sleep properly now when within a few yards of world class paintings ;)

The only star I knocked off is for the entertainment system which we couldn't cast to, otherwise everything was world class so still a overall 5 stars and we will definitely stay again. Service is top class Welsh.

We have stayed here three times, and will definitely stay again.

The second and third times that we stayed we had the privilege of the suite in the windmill tower. If this is not the best hotel room in Wales then I would like to stay in the one that is. 360 degree views across the peninsular, three floors including a crows nest. Simply unbelievable - not cheap, but wow!

The restaurant is excellent, both for breakfast and dinner. The choice at breakfast is wide, and it is all delicious. Dinner is also excellent, although those with very large appetites might think the portions are smaller than normal. We were both completely happy with the quality and quantity.

Booking is also recommended for dinner as it gets quite busy, and it doesn't appear that tables are held for residents.

Everything about the hotel is high-quality - the artworks, the lounge, the staff, and even the grounds.

Give yourself a treat and stay here
