Black Diamond Hotel

Had a great welcome from the locals here. Only criticism was that the bar is too small for a band. Still had a good night and a dance

I haven't had a chance to eat at the Black Diamond yet , but if the polite , and helpful reception I received from the new owner , when I arrived to book a birthday tea was anything to go by. I will certainly be booking our reservations there in the very near future. Who would have believed anyone could change the hard drinking pub of the past into the lovely restaurant it is now. Excellent Christmas menu food was very nice and hot. Staff friendly and courteous we were a small group of a dozen people and everyone enjoyed the 4 course meal at a great price

Ok gentleman's tea. Overpriced though for what we got. Cup of tea was awful, cheap teabags. No choice of sandwiches. Had to ask for various items that were missing. Don't think I'll be returning.

Lovely afternoon tea, booked it for a baby shower. The cakes, and sandwiches were delicious.

There is no longer a Black Diamond hotel.

The Black Diamond has been turned into a private house . It is no longer a pub.
